Question about drakesbaneFollow

You'll generally want to gear Str over Dex for Drakesbane, since for most mobs nowadays (barring some rare exceptions) you'll have your crit rate from Dex capped most of the time anyway, especially in Abyssea areas with cruor buffs (let alone the Dex bonus from Razed Ruin). As far as equipping Crit Rate gear, it depends on how much Crit Hit Rate you can get in that slot vs. how much Str you can get, as well as what you're fighting and where you're fighting.

As for what you should merit, capping out Strength is the norm, since outside of a select few weaponskills, Str is going to still boost your weaponskill's damage, whereas unless the weaponskill has a Dex mod, the Dex isn't going to do anything to critical hit weaponskills if your crit rate through Dex is already capped, and absolutely nothing if the weaponskill isn't crit based.
