+9 STR +24 Atk
upgrade requires 15 flame geodes which drop off any abyssea mob during firesday, not sure if they drop outside of absyssea, haven't really killed anything not in abyssea for a while. You can also buy them out of bazaars or off of the AH under goldsmithing.

I'm working on new polearms for DRG as it's unfortunately one of my aside jobs (staves take way too much time -.-) How do the 90 polearms compare to upgraded OAT currently?

Yeah they do, I've just come back to the game, and dont yet have any Abyssea expansions, but I've had a number of Geodes drop from various EP+ enemies whilst farming, including flame.
Retired from FFXI ....but for how long this time?
I finished my langdebeve+2 with the -15% defense down on it the other day and I love it. I swear it procs on @#%^ing everything. Needed 15 soil geodes.
