I'm looking to complete trial 1438 this weekend for my solo Lance and of course keep up the hunt for zone wins and seals for my AF3 gear.

Very underwhelming weekend for me. I made progress on trial 1438 for my -dmg taken polearm, but didn't manage to finish it. Anyone know what season earth weather is found in at Attowah Chasm? Cause it looks like it's all wind in the winter months.
Other than that, I managed to get all of the Cards of Wieldance I need for my +2 hands (and a couple of extra) but I still don't have the seals! lol

Earth weather in Attowah Chasm is rather spread out over the season. I think it follows the weahter in either Meriphataud Mountains or Sauromugue Champaign. The weather intensity can be seen on wiki under weather category there is a grapf at Effects of Weather on Magic.

I don't mean abysmal proc rate, I mean zero proc rate, all my trials for gungnir killshots and did not see one proc on lvl 60 mobs no less. Even if it didn't say in chatlog, mobs never missed a attack round, because I would always look afterwards. 3 sec round compared to 6 is noticeable. So if they do proc and don't show up in log when mob becomes unstunned for some reason like the spell does, it's no more then 2 seconds. The spikes do 16-19 damage too

A blm friend told me that when mobs are stunned by the spell, it actually says when they unstun, so idk. Duration would have to be at least 3(?) seconds for the mob to miss a attack round and it didn't happen once in over 200 hits as far as I could tell. These are lvl 60 mobs though, so resistance shouldn't be a problem.

On another note, congratulations, hope you can finish by the 1st! :)

I meant the blm was talking about shock spikes, but they weren't 100% on it themselves.

Gungnir 95 {Mine} If it's true about the hidden proc going from 5% to 15% this upgrade, that along with the 14 more base damage, is a 25% increase in damage for jumps and tp and 10% for ws!! ^^

Ive been busy making it not suck xD Trials are annoying. Its up to lv 85 now. If all goes well, ill kill 3x tinnin tonight after work for lv 90 version and do a slavage run or 2, then hopefully do last slavage run tomorrow before linkshell events for 95.

Worst case scenario, i do tinnins today, but cant get all 3 salvage done till wed for 95 version :)

FYI, this thing was REALLY lame at 75 xD The original 2 min aftermath is horrendously bad, and this is with the luxury of a 5hit build with todays gear and spirit/soul jumps. Its just painful to maintain 300 TP every 2 min. With a 6hit, less haste gear, and oldschool jumps at 75....sheesh.

Lv 80 version with 3 min aftermath is night to day different. Lines up with meditate and jumps better and even the oft forgot 3min spirit link stealing half your wyvern TP (hey everything helps!)

Is it sad that I get the most joy out of the DA aftermath on my wyvern? Hes just all like...BAP! BAP! BAP! BAP! Oh you want some more!? BAP! BAP! BAP! BAP! GET SOME!

Anyway, now that the X00 mob trials are all done, i can emerge from my cave and go show it off and kill some stuff! (its also finally better than my OAT lance :P) But after tonight is when it really comes into its own. D125 and Drakes 15% boost after tinnins tonight! Then the twice or thrice aftermath at 95! I want my 8hit(2 triples), 15% boost drakesbanes damnit!

Also:
This weapon is so damn pretty! I honestly like this model more than even Vfork (my previous favorite lance) model. Its just so snazzy! I just never liked how gugnir looks, and Rhongo is just a generic lance type model, but this...has pizazz!

Glad to see this thread is still going. I stopped playing almost two years ago, not long after Abyssea exploded and the cap was raised to 85. A lot has changed since then! My achievement is deciding to scratch the XI itch again, very excited to return in a few weeks.

Would any Good Samaritan feel like answering a few general questions I have about the game in a PM, or maybe redirect me to some sort of compendium?

I actually had the wrong weapon traded in at first when going for the assault reclimbs, and I have to do the first 3 of each book, and now the last 2 to finish. We were getting some friends Captain who'd never bothered doing Assaults before. I never minded, and they're good to go back and help me, too. It's awesome.

Daily Salvage is still entertaining. Lately I've been getting sh*tty bags, but c'est la vie. Only been doing it less than three weeks, I think?

Did our first Arch Omega tonight. Really fun fight, got myself a pair of Enif Gambieras.

Corsesca +3 completed. Chauve-souris tonight if i can find enough riftsand. And then, the dat swapping. Cuz this thing is ugly. I think it should look like a valk fork.

Grats on your Gambieras. So far all the Arch Omegas my group have done have turned out pretty bad as far as drops go. We've only done about 4 so far, but we've seen 2 hands, 1 legs, and 5 eyes so far.

while my accomplishments will seem small in comparison to all of yours, after a 5 year absence I've returned to the game and have made great progress with getting my drg up to the lvl cap.
