/War might become worthwhile for high acc fights (like byakko) due to aggressor (pizza+1 mad/march sits you at about 75% acc) if you don't need the defense offered by other sub choices, but I think the Store TP and Hasso will still keep Sam firmly in the lead.
I seriously doubt it.
Hasso=10acc all the time.
Agressor=20 acc 3/5 of the time= ~12 acc over time.
/war gets "better" no doubt, but it will be the same comparison as always. Zerk/DA vs hasso/Med/-1 hit for Xhit. If you decide to use /war it WONT be because your acc is low. Hasso matches aggressor and does so in a consistent fasion unlike the +20 spikes.
So long as you are getting haste/atk buffs /sam pummels /war as per usual.
Not to mention foods like pizza will be INCREDIBLE at 99. The %acc foods will be completely absurd with another 25 levels of dex/combat skill. I seriously doubt drg will ever need anything more than pizza. And theres always a shot at a 3rd tier acc boost.
I imagine there will have to be a Minuet V just to keep up with the higher atk/def numbers of higher levels as the static atk bonus from min will start to look pretty crappy compared to chaos.
I really dont see /war comming outta the closet unless they do some severe adjustments to the entire combat formula system that makes atk more valuable to compete with haste/acc and not cap so "easily" with buffs/debuffs. Edited, Mar 19th 2010 3:55am by Banalaty
