Well, I looked through the last 10ish pages and couldn't find one. So I made one.

It took 3 months of (disorganized, unfocused) assaults but I finally got it.

2 other 75 jobs and a year or so later and 7500 exp off 8/8 Polearm ^^

Finally found profit in bonecraft :D

Yesterday, I did my first non BLM-burn Operation Desert Swarm with my new LS, and used my DRG73 (zomg, not even 75). It was firesday, so I used my Fire Ring + Mighty Lance combo for the first time outside of soloing, allowing me to do some nice 2200+ penta thrust on the scorps. I felt very proud ^_^

Sneak Attack + Jump was going for ~450, and trick attack about ~400. I love ranged Trick Attacks, and the ninjas love it too :D

Edit : Got crap drops, no strap/grip, but got my Senjuinrikio.

Earned a total of 33 merits in 4 days, and another 4 this morning, capped jump and high jump and upped angon to lvl 2, and got my first chain 125 in a DRG pt started by none other than me, where I was mob targeter and puller. Whew...alot of firsts!

Broke four figures with Penta Thrust damage versus a T-- Wespe. 1117 damage, and I was eating Meat Chiefkabobs which I still can't quite get the full boost from just yet. I'm sure that at least one of those hits was a critical.

666 damage from a Penta Thrust versus a Goblin Reaper. No food - in fact I was only fighting it because I didn't have the MP to recast Invisible.

Additionally, I managed to duo a Dark Dragon (the 2-3 one in Waughroon Shrine) following a nation change to San d'Oria. My partner was a SAM who was at 28 HP after we finished. (This literally happened just before the maintenance started.)

Well where to start..
I came back to DRG after a month of lvling PLD with my bf's RDM (How good it was to feel wanted in a pty again...), got my gear together, went lfp...

DING!!! 5 mins later, I have an invite! I'm lvl 61 at the time and troop off to Aydeewa Subterrane to kick some crawler butt! Get lvl 62 within 3 hours in a
WAR/NIN, WAR/NIN, WAR/NIN, DRG/WAR (thats me!), DRK/WAR, WHM party!

So, next night, I get my gear out, wait for a bit, then make my own pty.
Turns into a SAM, SAM, SAM, DRG, NIN, RDM pty, and I get not only lvl 63, but lvl 64 too! That pty was so amazing, no need for a NIN but I didnt wanna leave him out XD

Got invited to a EU Sky LS, to learn the ropes and see what happens, actually fight Genbu and Suzaku, and win!

So I took a few days off, came bacck on Saturday, end up doing another Sky run and take on Mother Globe, Seiryu and Byakko! Success! Headed of to pty and got 65!

So I've farmed my Testimony, ready to take on the old man for the first time, and now all I gotta do is hit 66 and get ready... would really top off a great week!

There is variance in damage for each of the 5 hits. A high damage WS occurence doesn't have to be a critical hit WS. In the end, it's somewhat the same thing; it happens rarely, it pumps damage above average, it's just "not a crit".

In the current state of the game, if your attack was high enough, you can do "crit-size" damage for each hit, including the 5 penta hits. Add WS mods on top of that. I've seen 1300 penta as /blu (no brutal earring), but they're not common. That doesn't mean I hit a crit; I just got lucky.

Played drunk one night and merited hp by accident. Does that count?

Helped kill Lamiae no 7.

Finally got full AF for a job (hehe all my others have like 4/5 pieces or so). Lo and behold, it was my drg XD.

There are many achivements I've made on and/or for my dragoon. The top 3 that stand out the most in my career as a dragoon as below:

3) 6/07: After a 6 month hiatus due to RL, getting an ethereal earring. Always been my penultimate goal on my dragoon, ever since i saw it as a still growing up dragoon way back when. He was a galka dragoon on a mage SJ and i asked him about his mp management, and he told me it wasnt a problem with his earring. Saw the stats on it and wowed like this -> \o.O/

2) 12/2005: Starting Remora's first all 6 DRG ODS. Coincidentally, this was when our call wyvern was patched from 2 hour ability to a 20 min JA. Mind you at that time, I checked online forums like once/year, (my regular outing into FFXI alla only began back in June 2007 lol) so this was inspired by more of a "what do do with my 8 stacks (and growing) of KS collecting dust in my mog house?" thing. Lightbulb went off, I grabbed 5 of my dragoon buddies with similar stacks of KS, went static, and the rest as we say, was history. The 6 of us went from rags to riches within the next 6 months. When they eventually ran out of seals, (and I was down to about 4 stacks and still growing) I branched out and started playing ODS with every single job combinations possible, pre TAU. Even sent /random /tell to drgs 72+, introduced myself and started recruiting them for future ODS events. Socialized with alot of dragoons back then lol. Very fond memories to this day :) and made it part of my Intro Sig link.

1) I am acknowledged as a Dragoon main in my endgame LS. This was despite the culture of anti drg attitude that was very prevalent among the past officers and members (most of them who i am happy to say quit, got banned, or migrated) and despite the fact that I had other jobs at 75. I wasnt playing back around the pre penta spam days, and spirit link had just come out as a new ability when I first started playing, so I faced alot of uphill battle. I led many of my xp parties, I survived the bias without the bitterness, gathered respect from others as a competent player and a team player, and never gave up making my dragoon as best as it can be. There are other members with 75 drg within my LS, but I am the only active dragoon in my LS to this day. I do participate on other jobs as tactically advisable, but its my drgoon that reaps the rewards. These days, I get more playing time on my drg, for which I'm very happy. After all, you can have more then 1 75, but you only have one main, and for me it has always been my dragoon, since day 1.

Mine isn't as impressive as others, but I'll give it a shot.

2.2 Mil gil farmed in 2-1/2 months on my Drg, while going through 6 levels in doing so. Makes me happy to have a job so good at farming, though I'm farming for Drg, lol. I died 7-8 times to NM's, but it helps stabalize the constant XP I'm getting while farming, lol.

Also this one is ongoing everytime I help someone do a quest/mission:

I have(in the past 2 months) turned about 15 or so ppl (20 or so since I've got Drg) on the Bismarck Server on to Drg, after they have seen what a good Drg can do. And made them worship at the alter of Drg power/versatility, and even though I like hearing how much they are impressed with and want(ed) to get Drg, some ppl can/have went on for well over half an hour about how much they are impressed with my Drg. But I just give em a "^^" whenever they start going on too long about it, and Thank them for their kind words.

But while I haven't achieved what some of these ppl have, I have still managed to turn alot of heads, and did alot for anyones doubts about Drg on Bismarck. ^^ So I'm doing my part for other Drg's^^

Got my assault jerkin last night, alky braclets dropped last night for my girlfriend(75 sam), and I believe I'm inheriting her pallas until I get a pair of my own.

I quit 12 days ago due to the CC i used expired. Its starting to get to me... pokemon can only be fun for so much time... i miss my Gizmo.
But for the "achievement", i have an interview today. . . I probably won't get the job (i really don't have any skill in advertisement -.-) . . . but if for some reason the start are lined right, and i do get the job, i can come back to ffxi >.>


i need my drug, i have not slept right in 12 days . . . I NEED IT!


But grats to you all who have done some actual achievements with DRG.

An epic achievement that we all could partake in is get everyone Sage title.

Finished working on my Flame Gorget finally.

Shadow gorget + Flame gorget = Win 4 me

I recently got my brutal earring from limbus and i am now working on my first piece of Homam gear, the Corazza. ( I know that I should go for boots first, but the waiting list is huge. The body only has 2 other people besides me.)

I will definately let you know how things go with flame gorget. Just got it lastnight and didn't really get to test it out on my Drg. I went up to sky as my Whm/nin and help farm some diorite with a friend's Sky linkshell. Didn't really notice to much considering I was trying to do some skill ups with a prudence rod.

Unfortunatley, I don't get to go as Drg to many events in Exodus... ; ; We have a member that they let go as Drg to a lot of events, Sutien. I am forced to go as Whm.

Lol, they said once I get 3/5 Homam, they'll let me start going Drg.

Oh, I forgot to add that I also got my first Drg Af +1 upgrade set. Now I need to farm up enough gil for the 28 coins (already have 2). Do you have any suggestions as for which piece to upgrade? I am torn between hands and legs. The +acc and +15% Wyvern Hp is nice for HB, but the gaunts have +5 str and dex.
Currently use Relic for hands now for melee.

What do you think?

Hit 70 the other night and then went to Dynamis Jeuno and got my second piece of AF2! I now have more AF2 on DRG than I do on THF... how sad is that?

Hopefully Nyzul Isle assaults will go well this weekend and I can show off some Askar once I level a bit more :)

Managed to get an Orichalcum ring for 250k off the AH ^^

That means if I can buy a Fire Ore for 70-80k I can have a friend sign me a Flame Ring saving me 100k off the Flame Ring AH Cost ^^

Oh I also Tanked Grand Duke Batym on Brd/Nin haha not really a Drg achievement But it was a noodles achievement and as noodles is a drg.. it could be :P (and I was using all my drg DD gear except for earrings and feet hehe)

Edit: [Twig] Flame Ring get. ftw. I think the only other 2 pieces of AH gear I want/need are a Chepo Ruby ring (as a placeholder untill Rajas) and a Minuet Earring for my Str setup... Maybe when I'm rich and famous I'll replace it with a Triumph Earring and replace Pallas with Alkys but meh that's a long way off :P
