Atm i'm leaning towards the Sword Strap for the obvious -weapon delay. More swings between shadows, more WSs etc, but i'm not sure it out-weighs the double attack on WSs and TP.

sword=
300*(100/97)+700*(100/97)= 1030.9
however, >100%tp still does something
pole tp: 17.7tp melee, 17.2 WS, 105.7 total, fTP= 2.010625
sword tp: 17.0 tp melee, 16.6tp WS, 101.6 total, fTP= 1.985
inc in dmg from fTP= ~1.013x
accounting for this:

I parsed out both straps on dragoon (aurum body + v. fork, so I'm overloaded on storeTP anyway). They're within statistical noise of eachother. In general, that means you should go with pole unless you're really overloaded on storeTP on your default build (e.g. use some of the slots w/ storeTP for acc or atk).

Basicly, as long as you dont lose your 6 hits to 100, you're free to use any strap you like. They're nearly identical and switching one for the other has no noticable diffirence for an outside observant.
The only thing you really have to worry about is comments from people ingame and a lack of party invites after being checked, due to people thinking it's a gimp option.
