im a sam and was just wondering what gorgets should i get and how many would i need? do they work for ws and or sc also and is it the opening ws or the closing ws for a sc that you look for on a gorget? please list them in a order of importance. i know this have been covered before looked but really didnt see it :/

ok thank you aqnother Q's what the diffrence in the snow & aqua gorget for gekko is one better then the other or are they identical??? ws or sc open or ending???
They are the same WS +dmg/acc, they just work for different partially overlapping groups of WS. Max SC dmg is based on how much dmg the WS does and what lv SC it is.

im still trying to figure out if i have snow gorget for gekko and i wanna self-sc will i be opening with gekko or closing with gekko for the gorget 2 work or it dont matter???

I think you need to be more specific on what you are trying to ask but I will try to answer your question.
The gorget only affects the weapon skill. It doesn't matter if you are opening a skillchain, closing it or soloing the weapon skill. The weapon skill will not directly affect the damage produced by you doing a skillchain.
It will indirectly since you used the gorget to increase the damage of your weaponskill. The damage of your skillchain, as stated above, is based on level (suck as 1, 2 or 3), elemental resist and the amount of damage the weapon skill that closed it did.
Basically, you want to use it on any weapon skill you do regardless if you are opening or closing a skillchain.

Snow Gorget is probably your best start. It covers Yukikaze, Gekko, and Rana. If you have the time, you can finish off all your major WS' with a Shadow Gorget that covers Kasha and Penta Thrust. If you're not using spellcast, you'd have to make 2 different WS macro script depending on what you're going to use in order to have the right gorget on.
