so one person is telling me i should ws in byakko's haidate. i was thinking something with str would be better. does the dex do something i'm not aware of for gekko or kasha?
also, for gekko and kasha (assuming i have enough acc) would it make any difference between myochin haidate +1 and shura haidate?
just hit 75 and i'm now looking at dialing in my gear more.

DEX means next to nothing on y/g/k, since you have obscene acc bonus on it. For rana/penta, thats a different case, and it will depend on the mob your poking anyhow. Never worry about acc on y/g/k^^

DEX does nothing at all for y/g/k; the ACC bonus caps you everywhere except for a tiny amount of mobs (and those mobs aren't nidhogg/kirin/DL/etc either, they're bullsh*t in MMM and maybe some sh*t in campaign i don't know about--to put it another way, i've never fought a mob that y/g/k ACC wouldn't be capped vs). for hands, whatever has the highest STR number on it is best.
as for shura vs myochin, only if the store TP makes a difference to your 6-hit setup (see sticky for details). if not, then they're exactly the same.

i use myochin+1. might oneday get shura+1 or work my way towards hachiryu with my znmls, but myochin+1s a fairly solid choice for ygk. shura probably be better for rana but not gonna bother with the nq for ygk myself. just seems a waste.
far as im aware theres not a lot better than af+1 legs for ygk. shura+1, usukane and hachiryu are all i can think of.

Agreed. I also use AF+1 legs, since that, paired with Domaru (no Osode), allows a lot of flexibility in WS and TP builds. I quit sky a long time ago, and walked away with 3/5 God gear w/ Byakko's. AF+1 and Byakko's are solid enough for most uses, so if you have those I would focus elsewhere (I'm working on gorgets too, so I recommend those lol).

It's 10Acc(useless for SAM) and +.1 FTP bonus. Which is pretty much a 1-2% FTP bonus to SAM's WSs.
