To Soboro or not to SoboroFollow
I'm a lvl 71 SAM who's been greatly enjoying soboroing things to death -- I love that Great Katana. That said, I've recently aquired a Hagun. My question is: which weapon is better for dynamis and limbus (not omega/ultima obviously)?

If you're doing those events with a fton of people I don't think anyone will care if you use soboro. If you're lowmanning limbus though Hagun is probably the better option depending on setup.

while weaponskill spam is definitely awesome, hagun will almost always outparse soboro in terms of total dmg because of the high tp modifiers on yuki gekko and kasha. If you're concerned about damage, use hagun. If you need to skillchain with like 3 different people, use soboro lol.

if you're not constantly engaged, hagun. if you're constantly engaged, not much difference.
This. Soboro TP spam and Hagun are about equal if you manage to get soboro hitting something.
If you disengage for even short periods of time (IE, a minute or two every few minutes), meditate works in favor of Hagun.
