Can I do 6HIT with this?Follow

ok, i'm 8K from 75, but can't get back to game for nearly a week now, I think I have my tp & ws gear's sorted, except for one thing.

I only 50% understand how stp works, I know 1Stp is equivelant to 0.1 tp.

I have Osode, haidate, dusk, fuma, alky, Marin M boots, PCC, Chiv Chain, Brutal, Rajas for the relevant slots. Also have Haci body, hands and feet atm as im still 74. I have the merits ready for 4/5 sTP when I ding.

Im on the AH looking at White Tathlum right now, if I bought this, could I TP in haste gear, so with 5/5 sTP + Rajas + Brutal + White Tathlum (and cc if needed) thats 43 or 44stp TP.

For WS, instead of Osode, I'll use the Domaru for 50stp ws.

Will that give me my 6HIT + max haste with the sacrifice of 2acc from t.Sting for meleeTP and 2STR for ws from Osode (and hopefully not the loss of 5acc from PCC)?

Edit: if thats not enough, how much Stp would i need during ws to maintain a 6HIT if I tp in ideally 43Stp. (or 44Stp)

The answer is "you don't want to do 6-hit with TPing at 43/44 STP only".

(tp): 11.5tp (base w/ 450 delay) * 1.43 (sTP) = 16.445 (round DOWN to tenths) = 16.4
tp in 5 hits = 16.4*5 = 82tp
tp needed on WS = 18tp
sTP needed on WS = 18tp/11.5 = 1.565 = 57sTP needed on WS

w/ chiv-> 44sTP:
(tp): 11.5tp (base w/ 450 delay) * 1.44 (sTP) = 16.56 (round DOWN to tenths) = 16.5
tp in 5 hits = 16.5*5 = 82.5tp
tp needed on WS = 17.5tp
sTP needed on WS = 17.5tp/11.5 = 1.5217 = 53sTP needed on WS


7 acc on tp 5STR on WS, for 3 haste on tp

probably not worth it

alternatively: keep PCC, trade out toreadors for ecphoria ring (-3acc instead of -5acc)

Why SE stop SAM's having 6HIT w/o sacrificing haste, or 8%ACC, is strange.

Thx those that answered questions w/o being patronising, or saying 'dur read teh stickies' or some other thing that is irrelevant to my question. Ofc i've read akushiva's stp guide, and wiki's page of sTP, but they didn't have the answer to my question, especially for an area of the game im new to and don't fully inderstand (hence the question).

I already have a stack of carbonara ready to use, even the extra bit of lolHP will help riding Hasso and playing more aggressivly with /WAR Hagun and 25% Haste /DRG Soboro. The difference between Hasso up/down with Soboro + max haste is a 33.3% speed increase, so every little bit helps i guess.

Aki's guide isn't "irrelevant" it tells you exactely what you needed to know to to figure this out yourself (in the first page even!).

Yeah, may bad didn't include the WSC part.

But the point still stand, you get much more benefit from gorget, releasing the 3% haste (not so 3% in actuality) for more STP in TPing phase.

I don't have problems helping out people who don't understand simple stuff already clearly explained in materials they "read". I have problems when I go out of my way to help those people and then they insult me in return. If you want to be treated nicely, don't be a prick to those who help you out.
