level 75 with no merits and no rajas i was able to come up with 20 sTP, just one short of 6-hit

Hachiman Kote +1 = 9 sTP
Chivalrous Chain = 1 sTP
Echporia Ring = 1 sTP
Hachiman Hakama +1 = 4 sTP
Hachiman sune-Ata = 5 sTP

So I put my first merit into sTP and got my 6-hit, it is both fun and noticably faster. (sTP +22)

this seems to be the easiest/fastest route to 6-hit for characters without rajas

the only expensive item (relatively) is the +1 Kote

meanwhile, I had to take Alky's and O. Kote out of my WS and TP gear sets respectively. I thought I would see some reduction in per hit damage but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Last to mention, I switch out Echporia for Flame ring during WS. Allthough the other peices have to stay equiped for WS for now, at least this does not cause me to lose 6-hit since I am at +22 equiped sTP instead of the +21 sTP that is required.

Any thoughts on this setup?

Just wanted some feedback on getting/needing the 5th STP merit.

Currently at STP 4 I can maintain a 6 hit build and full haste.

TP:
Merits: 8 STP
Usukane Feet: 7 STP
Rajas Ring: 5 STP
Brutal: 1 STP

WS:
Chiv Chain: +1 more STP

I have full haste gear (Haidate, Swift belt, Turban, Dusk, and Usukane).

So my question is: Is getting the 5th merit useful? Or would I be better off doing 4 STP, 4 Meditate, and 2 into TE recast. I realize I lose 6 seconds on meditate recast, but I do a lot of low man things on SAM and the 4 second gain on TE could be useful.

I am not sure if/when I might get the gorgets. TBH, I have not looked up which ones I could need/use. I have a Breeze and Shadow from my other jobs, but have not looked if these would help. My LS is a bit empty at the moment, so getting the Yovra is a bit hard. If the glitch is still in effect though, I could probably get my wife's BLM to solo them down for me. The chiv chain is more for a bit of acc and some STR on YGK than for the STP.

In addition, since I use a 480 delay Polearm, the STP required is less. My five hit build is solid there too. I recently had some fun in Cape Terrigan skilling it (got way behind as I got exp parties not on birds).

am i correct? 6 hit with a 450 delay GK with 5/5 store tp merits need only 11 store tp from gear and food? just want 2 make sure im reading right...
