Just curious, which stats should I macro in with the various katana weapon skills. Is there a link or could someone answer? Currently using Jin as 80Nin, able to afford decent equipment, thanks for any and all responses.

Jin is STR and DEX, but wiki will tell you which stats boost each WS if you look at its page.

assuming you dont have access to Hi or Metsu then Jin is it. Ten and Ku used for blue, ei for red. any ofr breaking latents with fellow :p
Jin has a crit bonus, so assuming you get 3 hits then the damage is nice. its not super duper but its the best we have

With relics taking a back seat to emp weapons, I'm just wondering how good is metsu, even against jin, and if any relic WS > emp WS?
It's better to be judged by 12 then to be carried by 6.
I don't have any experience with Metsu, but from what I know of how it works, Jin is likely better in Abyssea due to being a multi-hit as well as a crit ws, whereas Metsu is single-hit and not a crit ws. Outside of Abyssea, Metsu would definitely win.
my ls leader has 90 kikoku he hits for some with metsu and then he hits for 5k plus sometimes with jin, he doesnt gear swap either
i have sekerei, in abby metsu may hit for 800 if im lucky, and thats with gear swap, apoc rr gh. my jins are getting close to 2.5k. my ichi an +1 record for jin is 3k.
he hardly ever uses metsu, and only then when he is bored with the sound of jin or to wake us up in dyna :p
