2 1/2 months later, I'm done. 85 Kannagi get!

I'd say that Guku camp on Carbuncle on Mon-Thurs (when we did the bulk of our farming) is about the same as Friday night Guku on pre-merger Gilgamesh. Fridays and Saturdays are unbelievably bad now, but on Mon-Thurs, I'd say we spent about the same amount of time going after Minax ??? as we did on Guku (we got pretty lucky with chests, though--I highly recommend capping Amber ASAP and farming NQ mobs between NMs).

It was about 20 hours total of claiming/farming/Sobeks to get my last 29 Skins, including two all-nighters where we only were competing against one other group and decided to just push through all night (I got the first 21 done on Gilgamesh pre-merger). We did get a free Sobek in there from a group that wiped and HPed, but all the other ones were farmed by a 4-6 man group of LS members. Also, make sure your Sobek never goes yellow, because people will try to take it.

It was a lot of work, but at the end of the day, the Kannagi was totally worth it.

Sounds worse than Amun, which from little experiance I had of Amun, he wasn't that bad when you had 4-5ppl there spread out there.

It'll have to start being my monday night event though I guess.

Finally finished Helms of Briareus, now that its over, I must say i've had my fill O.o

Now time for good ol' Sobek. /sigh

If you read through the thread your given a solid way of solo-ing Bria.

For Sobeks skins you will have to make /sh groups or have a team of friends/ls group willing to help. If BST can solo Sobek then your set lol

Sand, I think I might start the Kannagi trials. I finally finished Verethragna, so now I need an easy trial to ease my mind back to sanity.
If you're still doing Briareus, I'd love to duo it with you.

For those of you actually thinking of doing the 90 trial, just want to give a few tips. If Gil is a concern, in reguards to the absurd cost of fragments, they are easily farmable with minimal golden lights(around 30-48). I generally go in MNK and WHM and mob up spectators I get my lights via slaughter and red chests. If you are lucky you can get about 5 fragments an hour, as well as some God Cores. It makes for some nice farming. If I am duo I simply leave on my WHM and send to myself. Although normally I have some friends leeching so they hold pops.

As for Dhorme, he is a complete joke. WAR, NIN, WHM, BLm(safety purposes to stun fulm) and you are more then set, after all you wouldn't want to waste that pop and not get red.

And finally for Apa, there are 2 ways. Brewing is obviously the easiest, but to do it efficiently I recommend wildfire, or sanguine blade. Sanguine can take out in 2-3 ws's making 5+ very easy. Thus saving you a lot of cruor. I have no personal experience with wildfire, but I hear it is a 1-2 shot. And then there is regular killing. It's really not as hard as most make it out to be, so long as you have a dedicated stunner, with macc atmas, because you will start to resist without.

Hope I didnt repeat what was already said, posting on my phone and didn't feel like reading through the entire thread. I just see a lot of people very excited about 80's and 85's and wanted to let people know that although the 90 trial seems discouraging, it's not unattainable. Just a little more dedication.

Any job /War can use sanguine blade, as long as there sword skill is high enough. I use Cosmos, Ultimate and Banisher atmas. Making it completely pwn. As for a 4 man non-brew I would simply suggest RDM, NIN, WHM, THF. Or just have your rdm sub thf. The most important thing is to make sure your Rdm does nothing but stun. The first time they try to debuff, or cure, it will probably cast on itself and Fulm. And although fulm isn't an instant death, it normally leads to more and that just sucks.

To be honest, I am not sure. I will most likely be brewing some in the next day or 2, so I will do one set with Banisher, and another with beyond and parse the difference. Obviously won't be a large sample size. But a push in the right direction. If I had to guess I would say that Banisher will pull ahead only because of the insane amount of Mabb I will have already...
