So I have 20 merits to burn, and all my jobs are complete except ninja. Is meriting subtle blow worth it, or should I cap out 2 san spells? Not sure how potent they are since the update. Thanks in advance.
Inside (and even outside now ?) Abyssea -ton nuke can be very effective with right atma & setup.
Meaning that -ton effect & san merit are to consider highly.
In the old days, most went with 5/5 Subtle Blow and 5/5 NTE.

San nukes are very good for MB now, i'v done 1.8~1.9k Huton:San with 3/5 T1 merits and 5/5 T2 and Futae.
running the Ni wheel is better overall dmg than bothering with San nukes for dot.
