Hello, all! First time posting here.
With NIN being one of my favorite jobs, I'm always wanting to bring it along when my LS is lowmanning stuff. However, lately we've been doing many abyssea NMs which are mostly nuked and kited.
So I've started working on a ninjutsu build so i can (somewhat) be useful at these times. Now my question to you all is: would you suggest unlocking the full :san wheel, or focusing on one san spell and maxing it out plus its effect in tier1 merits? Also, any general NIN nuking tips are welcome, thanks! :D

As much MAB as possible, HQ staves, INT, don't do San wheel, call it a day.

yeah i would unlock all san spell and throw the remaining merit in tool expertise. sub rdm and get all the mab and int you can as suggested above. When in abyssea use tonics and champion drinks. With tonics alone im averaging 200 dmg a spell 300 with futae. Magic burst as much as you can when timed right it possible to magic burst 2 Ni spell on one skill chain and that will actually out damage a san magic burst.

I was always under the impression that the delay/damage of San spells rendered them useless compared to the spam you can do with Ni.

@ above poster, yea, I just spam Nis when I have to nuke.
This set up is pretty much something you could shoot for. Its what I use minus the cape [and no INT katanas yet.] With 2 INT katanas its: +52 int, +23 MAB, +27 skill.
Fairly inexpensive, with a couple of pieces coming from Limbus and Dyna, and of course I'm elvaan, so RSE. You could probably use Novio earring in place of Ninjutsu earring if you had the cash, and Ugg pendant in place of torque. There may be other newer INT gear for NIN I'm unaware of. I'm never really required to nuke, but I can see its usefulness in abyssea.
