I'm quite confused on which route to take regarding a Shijin Spiral build. I asked this question on ffxiah forum and got a half-assed response that didn't really tell me anything, so here goes.
Here is my current set now. I'm unsure on what to pick for a lot of pieces. Another question I wanna know is when does +DEX beat +attack for Shijin? For example, +20 attack from O. Kotes or +10 DEX from Hachiryu?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've just returned to the game a few weeks ago, so I still have a lot more work to do before I can acquire the more exclusive pieces. Fingers crossed that this forum ain't as dead as I expect and I get a few responses!
Also, is Light Belt/Gorget good for this WS, or shall I stick with Justiciar's and Pipilaka?

I would imagine the DEX would beat out on Att, especially if you're 5/5.
Also, if you have a Black Belt, the convention used to be that you should WS in that. Because the 12% haste will do more for your DoT. idk if DoT is even important these days...

Should work now. Some immediate upgrades I know I need are an Ocelomeh Harness +1 until Toci's. I am completely stumped on what to use for hands, and could use some suggestions for everything else.

At 5/5 merits the ws has 100% dex mod, so barring any info im not privy to, the smart move is to stack dex over everything.
I've heard from friends it also has a hidden attack% mod of some sorts, so I don't know if there's a certain point when x amount of +attack beats y amount of +DEX.

Yeah. Hidden mod it may have(ive heard that too), but im just stacking dex. Or will be once i get this freaky, Emptiness destroying the geometry of the world graphic glitch fixed.

Suppose so, unless you could get a similar amount of DEX elsewhere for cheaper.
