I was wondering what ws i should be using on Nms in abyssea. I easy getting around 700-900 dmg on asuran fists. My gear isn't anything special besides legs+1 i'm also using rr/gh/ss. So am i doing it wrong or do mnk ws just suck at that gear level
Ascetic's Fury is significantly better than Asuran Fists in Abyssea.

I'm guessing we are similarly geared, mine isn't anything special either. When I got RR/GH/VV I switched from Asuran Fists to Backhand Blow. I suspect the same would work for you if you don't have better options for a crit WS. I would assume using SS would make the difference more pronounced.

Asuran Fists isn't a critical hit WS, so your atmas don't really give it any boost outside of the DEX on RR giving you accuracy maybe. Switch to a critical hit WS. Backhand Blow, Ascetic's Fury, or Victory Smite are the ones you want (listed in increasing strength).
Iirc, the first two hits of a multihit WS can crit.

If you're interested in someone else's shout, shouldn't that be at least 2/6 members? Once you join and get 2/??, it might be more appealing for others who would be more reluctant to join a 1/?? group...

No hits can crit, unless the WS specifically states that it can crit,(ascetics had incorrect text, was this ever corrected?), or you use an ability that forces a crit.

No hits can crit, unless the WS specifically states that it can crit,(ascetics had incorrect text, was this ever corrected?), or you use an ability that forces a crit.
I meant to say 'I think all hits of a crit ws can crit'. I thought everyone knew or understood only crit ws's can crit as a given (with the forced exceptions).
