Before I finished Vereth I read a few places that said aftermath was main hand only and just figured it to be true. Today messing around in a cruor pt I noticed on more than one occasion the ODD procing on offhand (only 2 hit round, 2nd hit 500+ crit hit). Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if the only main hand proc was just a load of crap to begin with?
You sure your not referfing to the OOC2x weapon? The one that was useless for H2H but godly for Footwork around 10 levels ago?

i remember the thread, but it distinctly said it procs on off hand only.
Its been a month or 2 back. Might have been a discussion of another weapon. I just remember a brief comparison of ukon vs vereth, the deciding factor being vereth odd proc being 1st hand only. I just remember being a tad let down that I would have to go thru chloris hell for half the odd, but this was a very pleasant surprise!

I've been paying close attention to kicks since i got the h2h and havent noticed one ODD. Granted its only been 2 days, but I've been on mnk almost constantly, including 2 2-3 hour cruor pts with 90% of the member clearly having burned their DDs, so it wasn't like I was only hitting mobs 1 or 2 times each.
Quick thought just hit me that maybe footwork would clear it up, but thinking twice about it its probably not considered the same as a kick attack after a normal h2h round as far as ODD is concerned.

Offhand only.
very easy to test. Go smite something w/ 300 tp 50% ODD rate.
Just went through 3 full aftermaths of 300 tp w/o a single proc on the main hand and MANY MANY procs on offhand.

lol, are you even remotely serious here? it's offhand only. that's been known for months, and if you'd paid attention for 30 seconds after finishing your 85 you'd have figured that out too.

Go make a vid or take a screenshot (take off all da/ta so its clear 2 hits per round).
I could easily make a video of an entire t3 aftermath of it only proccing on the offhand.
If it could proc on both, it'd be noticeable. It wouldn't be "oh I saw that once" unless you're claiming they programmed the offhand to have a much higher ODD rate than the main hand, which would be a dumb claim, lol

I'd have preferred to do this w/ no DA but I was already in this zone when I decided to do this, so I separated the attack rounds best I could

actually monk swings left - right and with slow on / no haste its only the main hand that is procing it for me.

main hand is referring to it being the first showing up in log, not which hand swings first in the animation vs. right of left handed. I've never had a ODD proc occur on the first hit of a melee round, only the second+.
It's actually weird cause i always assumed weapons like this only procced on the main hand, so i got very hopeful when i saw it proc offhanded. but then it never procced on the main hand :/

I will agree that it is definitely one hand only, and the one that shows up second in the log. However as far as if that is the main hand / off hand, i dont know. I only play monk and pup so I never get to see things like that with weapons you can tell the difference with.
As far as it going off on DA, TA, counter, i cant recall.

I have them and thought I had seen it proc on both swings but I couldn't tell you for sure because I never really paid attention. How can we have people claiming it works both ways on such a cut and dry issue?

I've watched for and never seen the ODD proc on counters. I never bothered to check kicks, I just assumed that it wouldn't proc on those.
