Augmented Osode Vs Tantra +1Follow

I am 8/10 on Body seals and will soon face the question of fulltiming the Tantra or using it as an impetus macro piece.

Tantra Cyclas +1 - 61 DEF, +12 ACC, +12 ATT, STR +8, VIT +8, Augments Impetus

Aug Kirin's Osode - 52 DEF, +7 ACC, +10 Stats, +50 Light, +2 Dual Wield

Ignoring stats that have no real meaning on MNK, we are left with:

+5 ACC, +12 ATT, Aug: Impetus Vs +2 STR, +2 VIT, +10 DEX, +10 AGI

So, essentially does +12 ATT beat out +2 STR, +10 DEX. My kneejerk reaction was Osode would still be better with Tantra as an impetus macro piece.

I would favor the attack inside abyssea, only because after atmas/enhancements we are close to capping accuracy but never seem to cap attack.

But like the above poster said we need more info to be better informed.

To Kyrria:

I would work on legs and hands+1 first since those seem to give most bang for the buck for you atm
Rings and earrings are fine until later when you can get Eponas Ring and Aesir pendant (not so much of a boost but all help)

After that it's all about af3+1 gear, then +2. Wear Fumas until a) get black belt and other haste gear to get 25% or b) get +2 legs, head, hands.

Ultion Matle should hold its own when tanking, for raw DD get an att mantle (amemet cheap, atheling is goal)

Neck can be uppgraded to Agasaya's or Faith torque (works best paired with af3+2 hands for base dmg)

For weapons I don't really know how well those compare to Furor/Taurine/Fire taipans, so that's for the math wizards to do :p (the Revenant Fists aren't so bad to get though, Verethragna is hell but worth it!)

Depending on mob attack speed, or debuffs, I've never been convinced this is the best option. I have been thinking of revamping my Utsusemi: Ichi macro however for a PC Utsu Ichi macro instead of pressing PC > Ichi etc. I will put the mantle in while casting and have it macro'd out once its up. I really dont feel like a special equip/unequip macro just for PC when shadows are down however, or the times PC has carried over to the 2nd or 3rd time your shadows get ripped.
