Not much of an accomplishment, but in a merit party today I was told by the Black Belt/Shura/Destroyers MNK in my party that I was outdamaging him on his parser with all my AHable gear. Made me feel proud of myself that sometimes skill is more important than gear. Never had the time with school to dedicate schedules to Sky and Dynamis Linkshells, so I just fished my ass off to gear myself the best I could from the AH. I don't know how the hell it was possible, though he was a little slow on WS and sometimes went with 5-10%HP left. Skill > gear in the end I guess.

We partied last night and you were out damaging my Black Belt/Shura/Destroyers MNK. According to the parser, you were almost 11% accuracy above me, even though I had 8/8 h2h and pizza :(
On that note, it inspired me to actually do my mnk macros on that computer.
The other thing that made me feel good, is you were doing 30% of overall party damage, where I was only doing 26%, but we were both well above the other members.

No, I was the taru mnk only, the galka monk was ... <18% damage after I joined.
I guess I need a PCC. Switching to Hades Sainti put me up to 27% with you still at 29%.

A few nights a go I 4 man'd a UFO on RDM, with a NIN, PLD, and BLM friend. And right after obtained a Soil Gorget =)
As far as R/EX items go, all I need is Shura Togi, Destroyers(0/7), and a PCA(0/7).

Not useful to you now, but next time, to make it shorter (less number of fights to get everyone organs), go mnk brd rdm. Easy trio of Om'Yovra (100% drop on organ) or if you're feeling good, go mnk rdm (Much more difficult to battle with regen, but it is doable if can't find anyone else)

As of Saturday 14.02.09, I am the proud owner of Destroyers from Double Dragonian.
Special thanks to Jfive for putting a group together when I had lost all hope & Overkill for allowing me to lot on the Destroyers when they fell on his orb.
Thanks to Alkalyze & Spyro for their magey goodness and last but not least Defender for his awesome Samurai destruction.
I will never forget this day and still wear the smile that has been on my face since seeing "Sphinxy obtains a pair of Destroyers" in the chat log.

Timed out at 4% on the Zhayolm Remnants boss... bastich needs to die so I can get my hands on a Tsukikazu Togi! Hikazu Hara-Ate sitting in storage, 12 Imp. Wootz Ingots languishing in my locker, card next to it to pop Princess Pudding as soon as the 25 drops... and we've only managed to kill the Zhayolm boss 2 of the 9+ runs I've been with this group for. /sigh.

Whoot lvl 8 (leveled my war sub to 18 first) - and have decided to level my monk as my main. I am a returning player from 3 yrs ago and.... MOST importantly kicked WoW to the curb for good.
Also - while not entirely MNK related, I finally broke 10k gil from ores! <.< ugh. so far to go.
I look forward to posting as I level accomplishments that I get... And one day, hopefully that will be an O.Kote drop.

Not missing anything big, but I found myself TP'ing in Genbucket and SH+1 even though my evasion was pretty high in my dd gear, but swapping merm for etheral. Was my 2nd attempt at solo and the first time it was going pretty well, it whiffs like crazy, doesn't hit hard, but got hit with 2 nearly back to back unresisted waterga IVs for 795. So, for the 2nd time, I idled in some water resist gear.

His waterga IV is rather instant. Don't think you'd be able to catch it with a high success rate w/o botting it tbh. And you kind of need WS dmg to kill w/o raging it so you can't really hold tp much.
In about the last two weeks or so:
I got my Destroyers after 10 successful KSNM runs.
Unlocked Asuran Fists and Destroyers (soloed all 800 points due to inability to find a WS partner...)
Got Melee Cyclas and Hose in Dynamis.
Hit 75.
Capped H2H and started Meriting. (so far 2/8 H2H and 1 KA)
All in all, it has been a pretty exciting couple weeks for my MNK.
I got my Destroyers after 10 successful KSNM runs.
