2 Kirins in a week, One tuesday, One tonight. Both dropped D.body, first went to my buddy, tonights went to me! Once my stuff on AH sells I"ll be buying my cursed Togi and sporting a Shura Togi. I am absolutely thrilled, as along with my B.Haidate I got a little while back, Shura Togi is the last item I need for my monk that I can realistically expect to get(Black Belt and Brutal Earring being goals, but highly unlikely I"ll ever see either). Shura Togi will put me over 400 atk /nin which from what I recall has always been the big barrier to cross as a Monk while /nin. So... HURRAY!!! I'm both amazed that I managed to find a Sky LS that has stayed together long enough for me to get the items I wanted, and that it's partially because I and a friend took over the shell when other leaders disappeared and rebuilt it from just 6 members farming Diorite to a shell that can not only kill Kirin, but even come back from near wipe conditions.(Tonight Kirin spat out all 4 gods within 5 minutes. We had Suzy and Seiryu up with the entire shell completly wiped, but through some carefully timed Saccing by me, another Leader, and a RDM, we got healed up and took out Suzy and then seiryu and then Kirin. It was definitely a proud day to see how far we've come from a near shell-break).

Ok, I've rambled enough, just really really really happy. LOL!

Edit: Actually, since I'm up waiting on newborn to go back to sleep, I'll go ahead and add another accomplishment. The same buddy who got his D.Body Tuesday, I duo'ed(and tanked) Bodach, Mr. Asuran Fists WSNM himself just last week. It was actually a remarkably easy battle, much moreso then what I remembered when I had to kill him(iirc, I had a full party of people and we still nearly wiped).

Always fun to duo a WSNM mob with a partner who is only 71, and being hit for 300dmg+. Makes the fourth WSNM I've tanked, and none of them in a group larger then 4 people.

not really much of an accomplishment, but i did go 1/1 on western shadow.
if only i woulda had them when my mnk was 50 haha

just got the game the other day, i switched from warrior this morning to start on monk.... lvled 1-8 in a few hours. my new favorite class.... they do SO much damage.

just so hard to earn money.... if anyone has tips (i know its off topic)

The 2 Black belt mkns were taking the piss out of my WS dmg, so i did that, and said "HAH! now stfu!"

They spent the next 2hours trying to beat it XD

Had to do most of it solo, that took some work, but i got lucky and a SAM named Vhades came along and helped me out for the last 100pts or so.

Kept seeing one on AH every 3-4 days and the price kept going up. Today, 7 were on auction and managed to grab one for 150k less than what it was going for.

Funny how we spent almost two years without a single Torque from anyone, then a few months ago we got a Temperance (which I won the lot on, and then got PCC from BCNM40 like two weeks later >.>). A little later we got our first Faith and Fortitude. After that, every single Faith we killed has dropped. Awesome.

Almost done with all the items I need for my brown belt, just trying to get Morbolger's ToD on Lakshmi and I'll be finished.

Kirins Osode: O

kinda weird really, I used to do alot of gardening, a made a few M gil of it, then I stopped about a year back. I recently started again this past month with 8 gardens growing Water Ores. Gardening seems to be the only decent method I have at making gil.

Im not very good at farming, and all the good farming camps are always over crowded. Ive never made more than 100k from an ODS run (onry KS99's from now on). I made some gil farming hakutaku pop items, and Ive had a few Khroma ores drop in the past from ISNM. In the whole tho, nothing has been as reliable and as profitable as Gardening.

Sooo, after making just over 1.5M from my last harvest (and combined with the gil I already had), I thought I would buy an M.Kris from my Cor & Thf for 3M. I tested it out on the Soboro NM and thought it was kinda good. I was getting 100%TP just before my SA/TA timers were up, but then I took it to an exp party vs beetles and all I was managing to hit was 0's & 1's (I know, needed more att). When I got back to Aht Urghn, I thought I'd try and swap it for an Osode.

about 10secs later I got a responce and sum1 hastily swapped an Osode for it. I have to say, I am much more impressed with my Osode then I ever was with my Dagger. I dont like the fact that ive just lost 5acc, but I intend to get that back by purchasing a PCC if my next harvest is good.

Logged out before maintenance in Castle O. Logged in after 3 hours of patching, one of only 2 people in the zone. The other was not camping Mee Deggi. Killed all the yags in the room. When they started popping again, started killing again. Still only person in the room. Mee pops, kill him, got Kote :D

They're good for pretty much everything. Same HP and only 4 less attack compared to Bandomusha, no elemental weaknesses, big Subtle Blow, and one less line you need to put in a Chakra macro...

AND THEY MATCH OTHER MNK GEAR.

'Cause fashion is important. ^^b
