I was in a similar situation recently trying to get my thf af hands and soloing dyna tav as I didn't have access to dyna xarc. The first piece of advice I will give you is if you already have dyan beau access, try there, as the city/northland zones are typically easier than the cop zones as a general rule.
Second, if that is not an option, here is my advice. First, if you are solo, sub /dnc and get a relatively decent evasion set that keeps capped haste. You could go /nin if you didn't care about procing currency all the time AND if bloody bolts work on your prey. Shadows probably wouldn't though, although it seems that dyna mobs are a different classification of mob, so it is a possibility. Mine was nothing to brag about, but it was enough to solo Demons for the full two hours if I was on top of my game.
Here it is:
Thockha STR (I don't have an eva one)
Thief Knife or Triplus (couldn't decide, I ended up getting better currency drops without Thief Knife it seemed [unparsed])
Raider's Boomerang if bloody bolts dont work on shadows, otherwise swap to xbow as needed
Raider's Bonnet +2
Evasion Torque
Suppanomimi
Brutal Earring
Raider's Vest +2
Brego Gloves
Rajas Ring
Heed Ring
Blithe Mantle
Twilight Belt
Ocelot Trousers
Raider's Poulaines +2
I could have used a bit more eva in the set, but that one worked pretty well for demons. For dagger, I just picked up the one that can give you a 3 minute haste buff, I will probably start using that one on the runs that I do. 15% more haste is quite nice.
If you are going to be duo in, I strongly recommend that whichever person will do most of the tanking goes as /nin rather than /dnc. If your friend is a bst, go /nin as you will probably split tanking time 50/50 with the pet on a good bst, a not so good one and you will tank about 80%. That way, you also have access to magic procs on rdm, smn, whm, blm, brd mobs if you happen to pull them. I wouldn't pull any of those except maybe brds or whm solo, maybe expand that to rdms if you are duo.
For TEs, I was never able to successfully solo the Eye TE, so when I was soloing, I only did 4. The one past the tauri is the hardest one, but you can do one tauri at a time to get down there, it isn't too bad.
My advice for playing as /dnc would be to keep haste samba up at all times. The extra attack speed will help you stay alive more than not expending the 35 tp to have it up. Alternatively, if drain samba works, you can try that, but I have had better survivability results with haste samba. Boxstep for finishing moves for refverse flourish and violent flourish. I didn't use referse flourish all that often unless I needed an emergency cure or something, but I was able to stun a lot of tp moves on demons with violent flourish. Substitute quickstep for evasive mobs. Lastly, do not let HP drain effects stay on your char for long. Healing waltz those as fast as possible. Prioritize Curing Waltz III over healing waltz though.
good luck
