thf overpowered? :: World of Warcraft

I just recently started back, and I noticed that thf and mnk seem kinda over powered now. Thf being, they are hard to hit, and mnk just being a constant barrage. Anyone else have a similar take on the situation?

Thf has always been the most evasive class in the game. Mnk has always been a top tier 'barrage' of fists DPS (once we learned how to gear and stopped fighting IT++++++ mobs some 5 years ago). Thats like saying "i noticed drgs jump on stuff and bsts control animals in battle". Jobs do what they are good at.

If you're just recently back, I'd wager almost everything seems OP compared to the pre-abyssea days. Mnk and Thf are pretty cool guys, though, si.

Um, sorry, not a troll thread. Either way, to the one person who inputted, yeah it does seem that way. I guess the they took the strong points of all jobs and really made them stand out. I've been seeing thf tank lately, and they were doing a damned good job. I've had thf friends tank for me on some nm's and stuff, but they always had me do the evasion songs on my brd and them maxing out their evasion gear, but it seems that a lot of that stuff isn't even necessary any more for them to avoid getting hit.

They were hardly necessary beforehand. When I parsed merit parties at 75 I had 57% evasion in full damage gear with no evasion buffs whatsoever, not even evasion merits. Only time evasion gear/songs were really necessary is the multi-attacking creatures that'll blow through shadows and kill you fast if you don't have a capped evasion rate.

Yeah, was one of the things I never noticed I guess. Been trying to level thf lately since it's getting harder for me to get crafting materials for some stuff in the AH. Farming as been a breeze, and not much reason to /nin since the damage you do take can get taken care of /dnc. Can't wait to get it to 90. Used to have to farm for a couple of hours for meat and such. I'd also like to see how it does in dynamis too.
