Did we ever talk Mirke 3% DW, 10ATK?Follow

If accuracy is kind of yesterday's news, have we actually tried figuring out what a Mirke with 10 ATK and 3% Dual Wield would do versus the traditional 10ACC/10ATK or 10ACC/3%DW?

I'd probably do Double Attack over Attack to be honest. I mean you're gonna have like what, 600ish attack in abyssea? Whats our TP/WS split? Like 60/40 in favour of TP? If so then 10attack is going to add like 1.25%ish to our total DoT. Even if melee made as much as 75% of our total damage (it doesn't) you're still only looking at 1.55%. Melee damage in this case will exclude SA/TA attacks as you gear swap for it.
Going from 10% DA to 12% (Brutal, Twilight Belt, Atheling) is going to be a 1.8% increase, going from 13% to 15% (+eponas ring) is gonna be 1.76%.

To be honest if you don't need the Acc from your Acc/DW Mirke then I'd ditch it in favour of either Loki's or a Haste body (depending on if you cap haste without the body slot or not)

Provided you have haste capped elsewhere I'd be interested in this as well.

Keep in mind, however, that you're giving up 5% haste for 5 attack (5 dagger skill on AF+2) and 3% DW so if there's another slot you can sacrifice haste for a more beneficial increase you'd want to do that.

Also, remember that starting at 3 pieces(I think?) of AF+2 you get the "triple damage" on 2nd/3rd swings on a triple attack. Head/legs/body are typically the pieces you'll want to TP in, so if you remove body, you lose that bonus (don't know the activation rate).

At this point what we're really missing is a good non-haste TP option for hands or feet. Haste is at 23% with body/legs/head/waist. To cap it you need 3 more, easiest in hands or feet and frees up the other slot. If we had a crit hit rate/damage or a double/triple attack option (with a reasonable activation rate, not AF2 feet), I'd go with that.

For now though I suppose ballerines/dusk+1/homam with AF2 hands is probably best.

I remember seeing a couple of ppl who put DA+2 CRIT+3and I lol'd at them. I guess thats not so bad now.
