this one is 20 hits to 100 but 3.8 sec per swing but more crit dmg from loki i dont use rapidus or the 1% haste neck so only
24.61% haste on both thos

As for atma. There are different atma for different situations. What are you killing in this tp set?

Ewww. Foragers Mantle is like 30k and Atheling Mantle is a 100% drop from something you could kill with just thf+whm.

Keep the Amemet +1 man, +1 STR does ??? 25% +1 base damage 75% nothing if you are out of Abyssea, inside abyssea it does 100% 0 base damage more than likely if you are on top of Furtherance abyssites. +15 ranged atk is beneficial on both thf and cor as well unless you have another back piece you use for ranged attack like Navarach Mantle for cor or that massive ranged acc back piece from abyssea.

yea lately i been tryin 4/5 af3 capped haste. with atma of apoc RR and GH. its cool and my set bounes does proc. but will it beat my 1st gear set i posted i still only swing every 3.7 sec. tho i have way more acc and att i wasnt sure. maybe i should change my atma as well. i use str kila and triplus dagger btw. i have rep and twilight i could use off hand too but triplus does feel the best atm. also gonna have Twash really soon 50/50 on shells ^^. anyone know the best 3 atma for thf to use for DDing. which tp set is better out of af3 4/5 and the 1st one i posted. and whats thf best off hand ?

Its more accurate to calculate things with delay as opposed to seconds.
With the gear I listed as my current set, here is my current delay:

Rapidus Sax - 1% Haste
Raider's Bonnet +1 - 5% Haste
Raider's Culottes +1 - 4% Haste
Rapparee Harness - 4% Haste
Homam Manopolas - 3% Haste
Homam Gambieras - 3% Haste
Twilight Belt - 7% Haste
Total 27% (obviously this is capped to 25%)

Auric Dagger - 5% DW
Suppanomimi - 5% DW
THF/NIN DW Trait - 25% DW
Total 35%

Delay 201 (Auric Dagger) + 150 (Rapidus Sax) = 301
301 * (1 - 0.25) = 225.75
225.75 * (1 - 0.35) = 146.7375

After Haste and Dual Wield, my delay is 147.

If I wanted to compare 2 dagger sets, I would calculate the delay per attack round for each set and compare that.

Set 1
Raider's Bonnet +2 - Haste +6%
Ocelot Gloves - Haste +3%
Raider's Culottes +2 - Haste +5%
Twilight Belt - Haste +7%
Ballerines - Haste +4%
Total 25%

Mirke Wardecors - DW +3%
Suppanomimi - DW +5%
Raider's Boomerang - DW +3%
Total 36%

Delay 190 (Kila +2) + 176 (Triplus Dagger) = 366
Haste 366 * (1 - 0.25) = 274.5
Dual Wield 274.5 * (1 - 0.36) = 175.68

Set 2
Raider's Bonnet +2 - Haste +6%
Ocelot Gloves - Haste +3%
Raider's Culottes +2 - Haste +5%
Ballerines - Haste +4%
Twilight Belt - Haste +7%

Suppanomimi - DW +5%

Delay 190 (Kila +2) + 176 (Triplus Dagger) = 366
Haste 366 * (1 - 0.25) = 274.5
Dual Wield 274.5 * (1 - 0.33) = 190.575


In the same timeframe, you'll get 8.47% more attack rounds with Set 1 than Set 2. So if you were to compare, Set 2 would need at least 8.47% Store TP to compensate for the TP difference before you can even consider damage.

Set 1
Combined Delay : 190 + 176 = 366
Reduced Delay : 366 * (1 - 0.36) = 234.24
Reduced Delay per hand : 234.24 / 2 = 117.12
TP gain per hand : 5.0 + [(117.12 - 180) * 1.5 / 180] = 4.476
TP gain per round : 4.4 * 2 = 8.8

Set 2
Combined Delay : 190 + 176 = 366
Reduced Delay : 366 * (1 - 0.33) = 245.22
Reduced Delay per hand : 245.22 / 2 = 122.61
TP gain per hand : 5.0 + [(122.61 - 180) * 1.5 / 180] = 4.52175
TP gain per round : 4.5 * 2 = 9

That is a difference of 0.2 TP per hit, or 2.27% less TP for 3% Dual Wield. You were right in that he doesn't need 8.47% Store TP to make up for the slower attack rounds, but haste still needs to be factored in when you calculate potential gain / loss of TP from Dual Wield.
