So, someone in LS the other day made a comment about doing better damage with dancing edge while single wielding, compared to dual wielding (and by a significant amount). I told him it was a fluke because you're basically comparing a 5 hit WS to a 6 hit one with the exact same stats/mods/etc. He insisted he "must fluke a lot then" because he'd done 20 WSs and it was always the same. I countered that 20 isn't a statistically significant number and to parse 100+ each. A bit later he tells me that a GM told him that while single wielding you get a bonus to WS damage to make up for the loss of extra DPS from dual wielding. Sounds like a load of crap, right? Did I miss this somewhere? Did I wake up in an alternate dimension? Or am I just wrong?
tl;dr: Do WSs get some kind of bonus to damage when single wielding?
