Hello fellow THF's, been awhile! I retired a few years ago, but I haven't been able to rest in peace because I'm missing something - Assassin's Culottes. I pulled Dynamis for over a year and they never dropped in the Glacier.

So, onto my question - what is Dynamis like now? Can smaller groups clear entire zones with the raising of the level cap? Is getting the drop something I should be able to do with minimal time investment, or will it take awhile? Is AFv2 even sought after anymore?

The hardest part about Dynamis these days is getting people to actually show up. With a group of level 90 characters, not much of the old content stands a chance. You may have an easier time talking people into something like Tavnazia, since it's shorter and has a few more fancy drops.

You could easilly go in with 4-6 people, get the legs, and make a profit, especially since they just upped relic drop rates again. I ran a 5 person group for farming currency in sandy for a few months, and we could get all the TEs there and make fairly decent gil. Lately I've been tempted to go duo some bcd and xarc runs with my wife's rdm to see if we could pick up a couple pieces of relic we're missing (they're actually still useful for my cor). I'm betting we could at least break even on currency, especially in bcd.

I recall many time going into Beucedine with 40+ people and clearing the zone (minus hydra level)... walking out with ZERO AF.

Went in last week with 15 people and maybe got 50 AF. Maybe more. I had 5 pieces in inventory at the end of the run that freedropped to me.

Good luck with your Culottes. It's nice to have closure on something you have wanted, but you will NEVER use them.

This is how easy dynamis is at lvl 90.

We had fifteen people show up to xarc, we killed all teh NMs in record time and someone said "let's go try the DL". Our shell had never bothered with it before since we never really had much in the way of numbers running late at night and all. So we decided to try, didn't have much in teh way of jobs suited for it, only one RDM/BLM for stun gunning, and we won, without any challenge at all. Completely unprepared, hardly anyone on their best jobs, and we won without any effort at all with only 15 people.

as for droprates, since the last update I don't think we're run a single zone without having at least one of ever piece drop, most times 3-4.

Thanks - it looks like it wouldn't require much effort; there are a bunch of shells still running on Titan I might be able to sneak into.
