I saw Shamaya did this last update and since we haven't had anyone make this thread yet I'm going to go ahead and do it myself. However I'm only going to list the items I've discovered and their stats rather than throw down a list of possible uses and entire gearsets. I'm also going to omit the defense rating and irrelevant stats on armor because let's face it, we don't really care about armor rating or changes in vitality when choosing gear. This list is taken from THIS web blog so all credit goes to the author. I'm merely consolidating the new thief stuff into one place. So with that said here goes.

Quick Disclaimer: This list may or may not be complete. If anyone finds some items missed in this .DAT mine please let me know.

Bersail Cap is a pretty nice Solo TA piece and part of a RACC swap.

I know :P its from a previous update but I don't see it mentioned much here.

Thanks melphina. I just saw the magnus dagger and I am a little disappointed at the low base dmg compared to every dagger we get. I know how useful the double dmg is but i was hoping for something higher than that.

As you said yourself Berasil Cap was added in the June update which is why I omitted it. If you'll notice the source I linked to has a few items from last version update (like thew bomblet) so I'm assuming the new .DATs reflect a change somewhere (remember the thew bomblet used to have an incorrect wording where it said it had 10 attack). This OP was aimed specifically around the September stuff. If I wanted to add everything since the first level increase I would have had to add in belenos's mantle, goading belt, jupiter's ring, Auric dagger, yeah... you get the idea.

Another great item from this update:

Earring:

Volley Earring

4 racc + 2 stp

Nice to have a second racc earring, its cheap (80k) but only leads to a total of +7 racc (hollow/volley) which may not be enough for people with the +8 agl 1racc 1 ratt set to carry it around as well (if you use the agl earring for TA, some do some dont, some like suppa ect...)

does 2 stp (and no other stp) effect nmber of hits with xbow only (there are a few xbows we use now, but i still stick with ziska racc)? Doubt t matters, but its a thought.

Yeah that harness sucks for thf/dnc, but some other jobs like pup/nin etc are on it. It is the singular haste piece for them giving it automatic niche uses. Fully agree, trash for thf/dnc as getting rap is an complete rofl joke since they uncapped the zones for subligar farming.

With currently available gear you can hit 25% haste without the body slot.

Head: Raider's +2
Hands: Dusk+1
Waist: Bullwhip belt
Legs Raider's +2
Feet: Homam.

If you only have v-belt you can replace homam feet with ballerines.

Technically it takes 26% haste to cap gear haste because of rounding, but it's still possible to do that with the Velox.

Head: Raider's +2 (6)
Hands: Homam/Ocelot's (3)
Waist: Bullwhip (7)
Legs: Raiders +2 (5)
Feet: Homam (3)
Body: Velox (2)

Total haste == 26% for a full gear haste cap without requiring the use of dusk (I refuse to use dusk because of that movement penalty, but power to others who don't mind). Is it practical? Probably not. But it shows it can be done. Personally I would rather my TP style mirke, and bullwhip is crazy rare as well so yeah. I added that in mostly for completion sake. I agree with the others that it's nothing special.

That is also kinda the point. Haste in all other slots, Acc/DW mirke body> rap or that other 2% one. I just mentioned that the body has some uses, but just for other jobs as they have no other haste options for body (pup is pretty low on the haste anyway). 2% haste vs 4acc/4atk is at BEST a wash when you have little/no haste buffs. If you have any buffs at all and not 25/6% haste in gear rap wins every time. If you DO have 25+ haste gear without body mirke rapes all bad. Mirke just pwns that 2% body no matter anyway so its all kinda moot. 5str, 5dex, 8-9acc(dex), 3% DW vs 2% haste and -1/2 atk.......not hard.

Or you could use ballerines/dusk+1 and that stuff and just use mirke and stab things in the face better. Or you could remove any 2% haste from annoying slots say..

balerines vs homam: +1% haste, -5atk, -6acc
vs
Rap vs Velox +2% haste, -4atk, -4acc

...wtf would you EVER use balerines for in the above scenario i dont know. Even if you have 25% and need just 1% more for the "true" cap, you are better off swapping velox to rap and WASTING that 1% extra haste because you still loose less acc/atk than you do using balerines over homam. Its just that bad.

You loose more and gain less. There is no reason to try to justify a velox when you loose more in other slots making velox work over rap, or if you DO have the haste then mirke>all. Velox is a hybrid piece. We have a better haste body if you need haste (rap) and we have a FAR superior non-haste body (mirke). 4acc/atk does not compare to what you give up for alternatives.

All right all right. I edited the OP to remove the velox's harness. I only made the list to consolidate all the new stuff thief could wear that s-e added in the last update. Nobody ever tried to justify the use of Velox's Harness. In fact everyone who voiced their opinion on the matter said it was terrible, including me. It was supposed to be a comprehensive list for informational purposes only. But this is a pointless argument since everybody is saying the same thing so I just removed it to save face.

Lol we lost some in translation, I wasnt fighting to remove it from the list, just that it was really very bleh for thf in general and seems to be designed more for other jobs. Im all for complete lists, i was just under the impression it was being pushed as a good item and disagreeing that it was really good. If we all agree it pretty bad...im not sure what were talking about then xD

You have forgotten about Taranis's Harness.

Although it's really not worth sacrificing ACC/ATT for (approximatly) 0.5% haste in my opinion.
