I would wait to see what is the latent, and how hard are those weapons to get before going OMG, world is ending!
Either way, might be useful. Mercy stroke is one of the few Relic WSes that is actually worth using.

That is kind of weird. Until I find out more about it, I don't really like the idea of another weapon with mercy stroke on it.
Other than that, I hope this guy's wrong and you don't need to be on the same trial. I haven't even finished the first Mandau trial, haha. So this change allowing relic holders to group up, if one is lucky enough to find a partner, should be nice.

If you use Mercy Stroke with this dagger in your offhand until you gain 3k WS points, you will then be able to mainhand this dagger and use Mercy Stroke.

I do think its a low blow to the ppl that have the Mandau but for those that don't its a good thing. Considering thief really only has two go to weapon skills. That being dancing edge and shark bite. Yes youcan use the others but they get iffy. Mandlic stab is good for the high evasion mobs with high def. But to own only one good weapon skill and the relic is the only way to use it is weak on SE's part. They could have tweaked evisceration really. I know its meant as a closer to skillchains and all but you worked for it and it sucks solo? GTFO with that. Now where is that Clement Skean!!
Yeah I don't mind doing quad damage to your back or stabbing you so fast it interrupts your casting. :)
