Ok not a THF myself but asking you guys because THF actually has this option available to it. Everywhere I check it lists things like Assasin's Vest and P.Body's "increase's rate of critical hits" as being 1~5%, basically noone has any clue. Does anyone on the THF board have math or data related to this? I'm looking for total DEX and monsters AGI included with this.
The reason is that I think it alters the actual formula for crits rather then a straight +amount. Currently the tiers are
Player DEX - Monster Agi = dDex
For dDex < 20, +crit 0%
For dDex > 20 < 40 +crit 1 to 5%
For dDex > 40 < 50 +crit 6 to 15%
Assuming crit is 5% base with 20% being cap prior to merits and gear. Now if the items adjusted the amount of dDex required for the next tier, it would produce the near random results we've been seeing. Especially if it makes someone in tier II go into tier III.
Anyhow that what I'm thinking but need assistance with any data or testing that's already been done.
Did some quick checking, seems 24~25% is the cap after 4% crit merits and I was confused on the wording.
