Stupid amazing luck this weekend:

Friday night - Final 3 skillups to net Bonecraft 100 after 3 years of actively leveling it.

Saturday Morning - Cursed Gloves -1, 1/2. Turning 430k into 3M? Hellz yeah. Sold them overnight and it payed off all the money I've ever put into bonecraft. Now to finish up my subcrafts and start on a crafting mule with that capital. (and reinvest it to make some more dough :P)

Saturday Night - Proto-O; Hi2u Homam Cosciales! Puts me 3/5 on Homam, and I'm next in line for Corazza and Gambieras. Omega just needs to put out and I'll be set. Also places my current TP set at 19% Haste (21 once I suck it up and buy Dusk Ledelsens instead of waiting for Omega to drop).

Epic day! Fynlar and I decided to duo some XP for his WHM, which was @28k to 73. So we headed to Caedarva Mire and got to work on some imps. Twelve hours and entire Anniversary Rings later, he's now 75 and I've earned myself nine merits.

Triple Attack: 4/5, with two in the bank and midway to my third! Flipping sick. I scored like 9k IS today during all of that.

Skadi's Bazubands

They're not the best for thief perhaps but still useful, but for corsair and ranger oh what a hand piece. Sidewinder would love these.

I guess the skadi gloves are okay.. I'm pretty much passing on them until they're rot since I think they're semi-useless for thf. I figure if I end up with them I might use them in a non-TA / non-SA dancing edge set (don't and won't have heca), but other than that, yeah, mostly good so you can store the set I guess, haha.

I've actually been doing Salvage for about 6 months now. ^^; Getting the 35's, triple boxing no least, is a pretty amazing feat in and of itself. I was just commenting on the use of the upgraded piece, heh. RVW basically spelled out what I meant by it. Believe me, I know how stingy 35's are. :( Had to do a lot of Arrapago NM runs with zero loot. So annoying.

Regardless, grats all around for accomplishments.

Aww hehe, you guys know me too well *blush*. But ya, thats the intent. Although the phrase going for "another" cursed cap -1 isn't really appropriate because i have no heca cap now to begin with, this is my first and will be my only ever abjuration. So I may be holding it for a while. I really don't care though, because I've been waiting for 2 years just to get the abjuration, I can wait a little longer if need be to hq it. Now that I have that I can work on that at my leisure =^..^=. {All Right!}

Yes, it is. It caps at level 97 bonecraft but has no subcraft, still thats 1 in 100 average rates.

It's a royal pain in the @$$ because the ingredients are

--Earth Crystal--

1x Angel Skin
1x Darksteel cap


The angel skin costs like 500-550k (but ALL 5 hecatomb pieces use one of these, it's basically 100% loss so if you break the synth you will lose the angel skin. I DO* say basically because its not perfect 100% loss but its so high it may as well be. I have only ever saved one angel skin in any high level crafting material in all my time, like elemental ores it's an extremely volatile material.

The other is that Darksteel Caps are never on auction, so I have to be able to either make them myself (high level smithing), or find a smither to supply me with them.

The only redeeming grace of these is they have some resell value. Unlike subligar which abjy is so much rarer the N head at least sells on auction house, so over time you can get some money back. I'm hoping for some good luck, but either way I'll wait.


I'm not particularly worried about it. I've already mentioned I leveled 2 crafts to 100 in the past, so between goldsmithing and bonecraft i make a living. I currently have some other synths i'm aiming to try and hq (READ: Stored up a buncha wyrm horns to shoot for signed dragon harness +1), but all in all I'll probably just wait several months and try to one shot it by just doing a lot of synthes at once till it hqs. I'll post when i get it so you can see a timeline hehe. Lets hope for some luck.

Personally I'm trying to sell mine. Constant floor 100 farming tomorrow and Denali Bonnet will assuredly be mine. Too bad nobody wants to buy the thing :( GL with the heca; some get lucky.
