I started in North Gustaburg, farming wasps and goblins. I used three mules in Jeuno to sell stacks of Wild Onions (7-8k), Honey (5k), and Beehive Chips (4k), dozens at a time. I sold Goblin Masks and Armors to a buddy who desynths them. He often purchased 25-40 of them at a time for 850 gil apiece.
A few days later a friend (Alchemy 63) offered to synth all my Beehive Chips into Lumps of Beeswax, and I agreed. I began farming 25 stacks of Beehive Chips a day, and then selling the beeswax for 13k a stack in Jeuno. I flooded the market, dominating it until others crashed the price. I farmed probably between 4-8 hours a day, depending on my homework.
About Monday of this past week I set up shop in Buburimu Peninsula, farming Bird Blood. I run a parser while farming, and the drop rates averaged to 120% when counting in my double-drops. I peaked around 40k/hr. there, selling 50-55 stacks a day to an NPC in Mhaura. I do this for about 6 hours a day, every day.
Tonight I found out I can make respectable gil farming the Abyss and Coral Sahagin NMs in SSG. A buddy and I farmed their spawn for hours tonight, and between gil drops, muggings, stolen beastcoins, and BRD/WHM scrolls, I pulled in approximately 200,000 gil in somewhere around four hours.
Since returning, I've managed to obtain a Blau Dolch, Dragon Harness, Chivalrous Chain, Dragon Leggings, and a few other small odds and ends. I expect to be farming incessantly for another two to three weeks before I can XP again.
We're done here now. It's better this way.
