Finally after about 30 Orison's Duckbills, I got myself a pair of Raider's Poulaines and immediately upgraded them to +1. Soloing this sucked, I was literally getting gold boxes with 2x whm feet over and over again.

Been kinda behind on getting stuff for THF since I both have been putting DNC first and losing my egls about a month ago.

Past couple of days have been good though:

Finally finished AF3+1 feet. Loving them in eva setup and solo TA
Finally bought a ziskas xbow (yeah REALLY slow on getting one lol) Loving the speed of it.
Got lucky on my shinryu brew for atma, belt, torque, and dagger
And just got loki's kaftan today.

Hoping to finish AF+1 gloves by the end of the week and start building popsets for +2 items.

Had a very productive night last night.

Soloed Gieremund twice. I have Raider's Bonnet +1 already, but I need Lancer's Seals so I pulled him the first time just to try it. First attempt was very smooth, didn't go below about 70% HP ever in the fight. Second attempt was anything but smooth. For some reason, he was very accurate on this one, and very crit happy, wow. So it started in on me, and I am trying to get shadows up and apparently I didn't get far enough away from the other hounds because I get a link from blood aggro. So I switch off Gieremund for a minute to take care of the other one right as Gieremund uses howling. I try to erase it with a catholicon, but paralyze eats it, and now my shadows are down. Ni recast isn't up yet, so I am desperately trying to cast Ichi while sitting at 77 hp. Yeah, that is right, I had 77 hp left. Paralyze procced 3 times while trying to get Ichi up with both hounds just whiffing away. killed the link and got lucky on a healing elixer II, and went back to business on him. Ended up with a charis seal for my trouble. Was fun as hell though.

Tracked down T2 VNM and happened to have dagger for blue !!, so picked up Agasaya's Collar!. Now to decide if I should use agasaya's or Soil/Flame for WS.

Later, I had a friend that is farming Fistule out in Konschtat, and I went to join them. At one point, we went to check to see if Turul was up, and sure enough he was. Pulled and dnc started to tank. Sam gets Blue !! on first WS so I am getting really excited!. Once blue wears off I throw out a cyclone to see if we can find red !! and red !! procs. Sam and Dnc went down to some front conal attack, so I am tanking the mob. Fortunately I had prepared for the possibility of tanking him and had gotten Atma of the Ascending One and Atma of the Zenith. Biggest scare was one time when testign to see if it still had spikes up I turned around and double triple attacked him. Went instantly from 2.2k HP to 400 HP. Whm was on top of it though, and everything went well. And now I have a shiney new Loki's Kaftan! :D

Parazonium +2! (D38 OAT version). Moar bluebox! (and the longest trial I have had running for nearly a year is finally caught up! You loose Verthandi and bastion too!)

Spammed durinn tonight and walked away with ballerines and raider's +2 feet.

Funny that I wanted to complete these last...yet they're my first +2

Been spamming the quest for body seals, 8/10 atm so will pre-ding that one.

Rest is just a matter of time, 2/6 on leg +2s and have a decent plan for the other 3 pieces.

Raider's vest +1 - finally finished after 6.5 hrs doing damn quest for last 2 seals ><;

Best part about all this is that I'm actually getting to play THF again. Reconnected with my old LS and we have just been lowmanning everything under the sun XD

Another 18 claws tonight. 60/75 orthrus claws ^_^ If all goes well, i might finish my lv90 Twashtar over the weekend.

Atma of the emporer. Acc major, eva major. Got my 1st eva atma finally xD Cant imagine when i would need it since i have beaten most stuff in abyssea without any eva atmas, but who knows.

Minor, but bought a thundersoul x1 and stormsoulx1 rings. (using raja+thundersoul for dex stuff. But only had one stormsoul on AH today so still solemn/stormsoul for now on agi till anothers posted.)

I only reactivated last weekend, so this won't be all that impressive, but in no particular order:

-Took THF from 80-90.
-Got AF3+1 gloves and legs.
-Got Ocelot Gloves (bye-bye Dusk!)
-Got Raider's Boomerang.

I did all this before getting RR and VV atmas and holy crap, they are awesome to use. My gear still needs a lot of work: have to start working on Magian weapons and stuff, but so far I'm just having a blast being back in the game and making some progress.

Better late than never. Skadi's Cuirie! Some 4 years later finally have 5/5 skadi xD

Its a shame its not exactly the hot sh*t it used to be, but who knows. Maybe it will get some luvin via synergy augment stuff in the pipes. Till then, awesome /ra piece and lolDE (as if we use that anymore xD)

On a bittersweet note, my pride and joy of thf is now obsolete. My signed (by me) dragon harness +1 that i have owned and loved for years as my favorite piece of thf gear I have ever obtained is getting put on the shelf (mannequin) to live out its dusty life. Ever since i got loki's it has been a dancing edge only piece. It has officially been out-done on all fronts.

Something about my 1st Tier0 bonecraft synth and the good fortune of signing it, all while being a priemere piece of thf gear (was anyway). I remember when i 1st started this game, my goal was to level thf and sign a SH+1 and a NQ DH. I honestly did not believe I could EVER get a DH+1 in my wildest dreams back then. It has and will hold a special place in my heart. It will join my other old treasures such as my homam corazza and aces helm as a tribute to yesteryear on my mannequins. /tear.

Got my +2 hat done last nite putting me @4/5 +2s.

Which poses 2 questions. I eventually want to go head/body/hands/legs and homam feet for TPing in but it may be a while before i get hands done. Should i continue using the +1 hands with homam feet or should i used +2 feet with homam hands for more set bonus?

Next question is that ive heard different things from different people about the set bonus activating on SA, TA, and WSs. Was there any concrete clarification about these found?

Subtle Blow build. Auric Dagger, Torero Torque, Dragon Harness +1, Rajas, /Nin = 51 Subtle Blow whilst still leaving you able to get 25% Haste with Af3+2 head+legs, Twilight, Ballerines and homam hands (or dusk+1 for 26%). About the least gimping you can do to your DoT to achieve capped Subtle Blow. If you have a +2 feet WHM you can cap Subtle Blow with just /Nin, Rajas and either Auric Dagger or Dragon Harness.

Food for thought.

Fair enough. I spose i should get off my bum and make an actual subtle blow build. Maybe once they let us Dbox rare/ex stuff to same account chars I can make space for some of these more situational sets.

But, probably my biggest accomplishment this week is blue marksmanship!! Been putting it off for a while now, but leveling cor has forced me to do it.

Tanked Veri Selen last night. That fight was so brutal. We lowmanned me, a whm, and a blm. He hits like a truck, and is constantly wiping shadows. This is probably more a monument to the skill of my whm than me really though. I managed to hold hate the entire time minus 1 incident at about 30% when blm took hate for a second, a good collaborator cleared that up. I used RR, Apoc, Ascending one for the fight. The wind resist on ascending one really helped keep me alive. It has been so long since I have had regular haste from mages though, I was amazed at how fast I was attacking, and with Apoc it seemed like I was TAing a ton. I randomly threw out Energy Drain at about 25%, and it just happened to be the red !! for him so came out of it with a shiney Abyssite of Guerdon. Now I will never touch this guy again. Was so intense.

Also dinged myself an epona's ring yesterday, as well as 4 others for my LS ^^

And I don't care what the other thread says...20% TA w/o atmas just feels....good XD

After some years chasing the dream, my parrying skill is, for the first time ever, a blue number for my Thief. Now to catch up a few others so that the whole window can be blue!

After taking a bit of a break from things (LS tanked about 3 months or so ago, and was falling apart before that), came back and finally got my first +2 piece (Raider's culottes +2) and got access to Shinryu. So far got skunked (2 fights, 2 x Twilight torque), but hopeful I will see the dagger and belt in the near future. Working on getting some other +2 items to finally see the set bonus in action... think we will go for the head next and then body. Feels good to be back to regular gaming again.

2nd +2 piece (feet) = Get! I haven't seen the set proc happen yet with limited usage, but hoping to see head/body +2 done soon so I can see it happen more often.

As well, Shinryu stopped holding out and I picked up belt and knife. Starting to get my sets caught up from the break. Doubt I'll ever go after Twashtar though lol.

I have decided that my favorite way to land TH is /ra <t> with TH gear on, then I just melee in my normal stuff.

Yeah, I am hoping to get some kind of magian trial where you can fuse the properties of the TK into the dagger or your choice. Dreaming though, I don't think that would ever happen. Would be nice to have my Flame Kila +2 with 9 STR 20 atk and +1 TH. They would have to mark it somehow so you couldn't have 2 fused daggers in your inventory at the same time.

Edit: Or what the hell, maybe having 2 TH daggers really wouldn't do much anyway, let us fuse TH to our two best daggers!

Edit2: Actually I use Raider's Poulaines +2 in my ra macro anyway because they have a ton of Agi and stuff, the only loss is including Assassin's Armlets (I really need to get those) replacing Trigger Gloves.
