The need for speedFollow

Just a general question, I have been looking at thieves and monks, trying to decide which I like better between the two. One question that I came across was whether or not thieves are faster (wielding daggers) versus a hand to hand monk. Daggers are naturally fast, and thieves have high dex. However, monks have martial arts, which increases their speed.

Does anyone know which is faster in the higher levels?

Also, does dual wielding double the chance to parry? Thanks!

I may only be Lvl 5 but I know where to get accurate statistics and information on MMORPGS. And my research has answered your quest... which is faster Monks or Thieves?

Let take for example the Mithra Race... since they are naturally the most dexterious race, and since your looking for speed, Mithra is porbably your best choice (if you don't mind playing as a female avatar).

At Lvl 70 here is how Thieves compare to Monks in Dexterity and Agility, the two speed attributes:

Mithra Monks (lvl 70):
* DEX: 74
* AGL: 54

Mithra Thieves (lvl 70):
* DEX: 78
* AGL: 70

There you have it my friend. THIEVES WIN THE THE NEED FOR SPEED AWARD! Naturally... it's one of the main reasons I chose to be a thief. Well the speed factor... and the TRIPLE HIT ability. Oh yeah...
