You get Steal at lvl 5. You dont need tot rain it, its automatically learned. You just open up the menu and click (double click if it makes you feel better) the "Steal" skill. ITs right under "perfect Dodge" i suggest just making a macro, because it would suck to waste your Perfect dodge because of a jerky mouse or lag, and have to wait 2 hours for it to refresh. I dont know the refresh time on it. Seems to be about 30 seconds to a minute. Could be wrong, cause i forget about it most of the time honestly. /shrug yeah, i know.. some thief i am..

Hit Ctrl- (that's control and the minus key on your numberpad) and this will bring up the main menu. Use our right or left arrow to get to the next screen and go down to macros. It'll give you a list of alt and ctrl macros. Use those to set up your skills. So for Steal, I type /ja "Steal" <t>

Perfect Dodge is: /ja "Perfect Dodge" <me>

Hope that helps. Check out the thief faq linked in another thread - I forget which one. It walks you through all of this.

Instructions are also clearly stated in the manual for macros.
