Does around the same damage as seraph strike. Flash when it lands last about as long as an unresisted flash.
Edit: seems that if the flash does land it can't be partially resisted. I haven't had it not land yet.

Well, that's good to know. (And even with somewhat lousy damage, it's still nice to have an AoE WS finally that doesn't require us to use a staff.)
Also, it's possible to have it at 78 (requires the new Club skill +5 head piece and/or a Prudence Torque, with 7/6 merits respectively), but not at 77 (full merits + Prudence Torque puts you at 289).

I have tested it.
The damage dealt by the WS is independent of weapon damage.
The damage is affected Magic Attack Bonus and MND. My hume with MND set + Novio + Mol. Earring dealt 308 consistently.
And, it will be resisted.

Try it on Aerns and see if they resist it. Aerns can flat out resist flash, they're so light resistant.

Wazs it Perg who mentioned that you can solo skillup in Walk of Echoes against crabs? You die pretty fast after the first one or something but you can go in and skillup on the solo crab for quite a while
Yeah that was me :) Fun way to kill about 20 minutes, although obviously it's not something you can do for hours on end. Besieged is another really good place to skill up. Aside from that, skill-up parties.

I solo my skill ups at 80 against coin teaches in xarc myself. You have to pay attention though. You loose track of silence once and ice spikes will destroy you.

If you follow the right (north) path to get to the keep, there's almost always one at H-7 right at the top of the stairs coming up from the lower level. There are sometimes quadavs nearby, though.

I capped my Club in Den of Rancor solo, with bst sj, charming and killing Bullbeggar and Den Scorpion.
I think joining Magian pick up groups on Soulflayers or Qutrub would be viable.

Preliminary results shows about 200 more damage. Around 400 damage on average.
Edit: So I was helping a blue friend of mine get roar off gargoyles last night. The ones we targeted still con T to me at 80. My flash novas were doing 490. This can be a great alternative to hexa strike if you don't have the gear, food, or subbing the right sub when meleeing. I am very happy I will be able to use it more.

I've tried out flash nova a few times and it looks like the damage is static unless you change up your gearset :(.
74+46 mnd and67+18 str and 5matk i boosted around 434 flash nova's~. 414~ w/o the matk iirc.

Also, you have rdm80 and iirc you're pretty decent on it. Cep-Kamuy can be soloed EASY(for the glistening orobon liver), Heqet can be duo'd DD + Mage, and Cirein-Croin is a joke, RDM can solo it.
Edit: Went to Jugner (S) and bashed in some orcs, unlocked Randgrith, then mea'd and checked ws list.

Heh, I heard. Too bad I'm like the only person w/o Scars. >.>; My friend has the glistening orobon liver key item though. So whenever I can get scars that might be a nice possibility to do. I *need* to merit my rdm though. 2/5 vert merits wont cut it at the expense i use up mp for nukes :/.

Tested Flash Nova with my BLM using full set MAB (Morri full set, Novia, Mol etc).
SJ WHM is required. (SJ DNC does not give me this WS)
