Perdu Vs. IngrimmFollow

Hello,

Just need 2 know before i spend my hard earned 40k Isp. If the perdu is still #1 main hand option for white mage. I dont plan to dual wield atm so....

Dmg 39 Delay 216 Att +14 Acc +5
vs.
Dmg 37 Delay 210 Str 4 Att +12

Also would Culacula be a better option. Was told max stats are:

DMG:57 Delay:310 < Does anyone have this? and do I need 18 people 2 make it happen>

I am finding myself DDing on white more and more and must say I love it but I dont plan 2 dual wield so I really just need 1 strong Club.

I think "a lot more work" is subjective and based on your ls and what you do in game. I'm working on the Mjollnir lite right now and it took me 2 days to get 3 stray mary, hawkeyed dnatbat and dune weren't as bad, but then when it split and the ENTIRE rest of the trials are low and behold, more 1-8hr lottery nms, I'm absolutely sick of camping. Kill ph, afk 5-15 minutes, kill ph, afk 5-15 minutes.

I'd honestly rather kill a bunch of mobs and get some buffer/merits and seals than camp anymore. The krabkatoa shells sucks, but so does 12 t2 vnm kills so thats about the same to me.


I'm so dreading camping mary again for the dmg49 one, its not even funny.

I agree, for a "hard to get" item like the Culacula, it only took me about a week full.

I got my Stenz (the starting club on Wednesday the 24th. Got all the mary kills done that night, In a little over an hour actually. Went onto Dnatbat killed him 2 times by 1 Am then went to bed.

Popped on Thursday the 25th, killed him the last time then went to Dune Widow, got 3 kills that nite. Then to Seww the Squid, killed once then went to bed.

Friday i popped on, got the other 3 kills on that and went to get Ankabut, got 1 kill before going to bed, the party was nice enough to let me stay, while i was sleeping to get credit for the other 3 kills.

When i got up on Saturday morning (got up at 7, don't ask me why XD) I popped on to get final Kill on Ankabut. Ran out to Mis coast, camped that NM for 5 hours before it popped, through the rest of the day i got the other 3 kills, talked to all the Whms and Sams i befriended during all of this (Sam path runs into this one as well) and planned on getting Urd the folowing day.

Went with one of the Sam later that night to try to get the colorful Abyssite. He got his, mine went 0/25ish ~.~

Sunday i got on early again, didn't start on Urd popping until about 1 PM, got all 6 Urd kills + 3 Lamprey Kills before we called it a night.

Popped on after work yesterday at about 5:30 as the group was recovering from a Lamprey Wipe, so i ran out, and all in all, got my last 3 kills and now have my Culacula.

Realistically, the longer you wait for these Weapons, the slower its going to take. People are on a Streak of killing the nms now, i'd say befriend poeple along the way and start on it asap.

So total it took me 6 days to get the highest damage club aside from Mjollnir.

Yes, its a lot of time, however getting Krabkatoa shells, i think, is going to take significantly longer, as its an Actual item you need, instead of just kill credit, and the mob drops 0-2 of the item.

Sure Urd and Lamprey sucked a bit, but we were able to kill with a Min of 10 people. (we had a lot that needed it, probably could have done with a very balanced party setup)

In response to the OP, Perdu is the better of the two, but if you're looking for a single club that'll perform the best on its own... you're probably going to want the Goedendag (DMG 47 Delay 340 occasionally attacks twice). I think that, without dual wield, will probably outperform both Perdu and Culacula and might even beat out an upgraded Mjollnir. Of course, as soon as you start talking dual wield, Culacula & Mjollnir pretty much dominate the main hand.

What's better until I get Goed? /perdu or /prudence?

Ugh, the "should I offhand Perdu or Prudence" question. I'm assuming Suppa but no Store TP gear.

TP gain:
/Perdu - 5.7/hit, ~9 rounds to 100%, 3787.2 ticks between WSes
/Prudence (45% 2A rate) - 6.4/hit, ~7 rounds to 100%, 3348.8 ticks between WSes

I'm pretty sure that your attack and accuracy aren't low enough for the bonuses from Perdu to make up ~13.1% more WSes, and you're only looking at one hit on Hexa from Perdu anyway, so Prudence it is.

For comparison purposes:
/Goedendag (45% 2A rate) - 6.9/hit, ~6 rounds to 100%, 3120 ticks between WSes

:-D "Only" another 7.3% improvement in WS frequency over Prudence, combined with better damage on that 7th hit and on what was originally about 41% of your DoT.

Goedendag/Prudence (wait, what?) - 6.7/hit, ~6 rounds to 100%, 3014.4 ticks between WSes
