You're not missing much by not swapping the ammo. I don't swap it in macros, I only swap manually based on situation (Sturm's Report when I need magic acc, White Tathlum when I'm using Sublimation and/or enmity down may be an important factor, and Hedgehog Bomb in all other situations... but honestly it's a very small difference between the three).

As far as resting, that equip could use the most work out of your sets I think. Relaxing earring, as much of a pain as it is, is absolutely worth it. Also, pick up a pair of Yigit Seraweels, they are great resting legs and also double as a Max HP piece (for Devotion, prebuffing Sublimation, etc). Oracle's Gloves are nice too if you get a chance, and Goliard Clogs obviously but you have Oracle's which is almost as good. Those are the big ones I see.

As for earrings to Cure in, don't bother trying for MND. As you noticed, the most you can get is 2-3 points per ear, which isn't going to make or break your cures. Instead, shoot for stats like Fast Cast, Conserve MP, Enmity Down, etc. Roundel is obviously great, but assuming you don't have one, Magnetic Earring & Novia Earring are two really nice ones. Loquacious is good to start the cast in too, but once you start cast you can swap it out.

Aside from that you're looking pretty good. Just the rarer and more luxurious items missing, such as Marduk's gear, Errant Cape, Cleric's Belt, etc.

Looking at your mnd setup and I am having questions about some things on it.

Raptor Strap +1 - Instead of these two, why not use Templar+muse

Goli. Chap. - The Moogle missions hat can have more mnd on it than this one does. Or you can go with the AF+1 hat after you get access to sea.

Morgana's Choker - Ajari Bead Necklace is the most mnd a whm can get for neck piece.

Insomnia/Medicine (I can't really find any mnd earrings other than geist..) - Communion or Star/Celestial earring would be good for these slots. (If you ever get star/celestial earring, It better not leave your ear.)

Cleric's Briault - Errant has more mnd.
Blessed Mitts/Legs - Good
Aqua/Sapphire Rings - Good
Rainbow Cape - Ixion cape would be a better choice
Pen. Rope - Good
R. Pumps - Relic feet or Marduke, if you can get them, would be a better choice here.

Remember for mnd gear, it does not matter how much mp you have. And max mp gear is useless when you are no longer at max mp.

Take a look at Patronus Ring and Trooper's Ring for that kind of set. "Free" if you have the points and rank.

Also consider Shantotto Ascension pants. While you can put -Physical Dmg on them, +Movement will definitely help you keep alive in some circumstances (I combined +Movement with +Cure on mine).

While there is certainly room to tweak the sets you've listed, I'd also like to point out that you are "missing" a few sets. Perhaps you have them, but didn't feel it was important enough to mention.

Enfeebling - enfeebling doesn't usually fall to the WHM, but it can, and it's handy to have a max enfeebling skill set. There are also times you'll want to enfeeble in your MND set for potency.

Divine - for repose, primarily. And if you have MP to blow on WHM nukes, you might as well make them stick for full damage. I also carry around MAB gear, but that's because I'm a BLM and have it anyhow.

Enhancing/Bar - for bar-element spells.

Dark - yes, with the availability of useful drain and aspir from /SCH, you should have a dark magic set. Accuracy and potency are both based on your dark magic skill.

Max HP - as Pergatory already mentioned, good for devotion and pre-charging sublimation. If you have to cure yourself for the devotion, you're really only transferring the MP spent, so you won't always want to do that. But I'd rather have a PLD get the hate from curing himself than me get it from curing him.

LolMeleeWhm - ok, totally up to you on this one. Fun, but certainly not required.

Also, regarding cleric's belt: Obviously it's a great piece, but I prefer staying with p.rope for cure III/IV... not so much because the MND doesn't matter, but becuse the -enmity does.

Need to add also a Haste/Conserve MP set actually for a bunch of "fixed cost and effect" spells like Haste, -na spells etc.

Usually goes with W. Turban, Goliard Saio, Swift belt, and Blessed Set. You may cap the 25% Haste in gear with a Capricorn Staff. But some people will chose a 4th Division mace, or Seveneyes, if available, to chip in more Conserve MP.

It was also a set usefull pre /sch days for wipes, where there was a need to R3 R2 R1 quickly. But now, with Celerity capping everything, you might as well go full conserve MP on those (Magnetic Earring, and perhaps few pieces of Cobra cloche Set depending on your inventory possibilities).

You need a haste set because we don't get enough charges and you can't possibly use a charge for every time you need to lower recast.

Yes, Cortege Cape (Angelskin Key) can do up to hMP+2 supposedly (gimme!), and although the highest belt I could find in a quick wiki search was Rainbow Obi @ hMP+3 (Azure Key), I coulda sworn I'd heard of one higher than Cleric's, like a hMP+5 or something. I was pretty sure it was Rainbow Obi. If so, me want also please! :D

Holy smokes, +5 from belt, I want! Too bad it's the only decent thing you can get from that key. But at least it's an easy key to get, and you can get it solo... Thanks for pointing that thing out!


Oh true good point, eldelphia may be as well.

The hMP+5 belt is an ooooold, old lie from ACP augments. Max on the Rainbow Obi is hMP+3.

another question, if i *want* to use medicines ring, i idle in my converts hp to mp gear(or hp- <.< )
would my cure macro work like this?

I always prefered this way too^^

Most of you probably have noticed there's a small window of time, between when the spell fires, and when you're actually able to start a new spell.
(during this window you can't cast anything at all!)

If you click your "idle" macro during this small gap of time, it works out really nicely! :)

Or just use spellcast and automatically swap into idle gear with aftercast.

Maybe the only decent thing you can get for WHM is the belt. However, there are a bunch of great things you can get from that key if you have other jobs, which is a nice bonus if you're trying for the belt.

Beak mantle with decent augments is comparable to Cuchulain, which is very expensive. 7 acc and 2 dex is comparable to cuchulains 5 acc and 4 dex (and actually more accuracy than cuch), and the beak can also get 2 str on it.

Coeurl Gorget is better than Spectacles (yet still inferior to PCC and ancient torque) if you happen to get one with 8 acc on it.

Torque can get 1+2 int on it, which is good for blm and sch but only a few levels earlier than philomath stole (which blm and not sch can wear) or enlightened chain. Granted, now SCH has wit pendant. But it still isn't a bad piece.

Cure 5 still generates hate. More than twice as much cumulative enmity as flash, actually. A solid enmity- build is still incredibly useful on Cure 5 for that reason.

I also often don't utilize the entire cure, so I'll do things like, take an extra enmity-2 over MND+5 in the waist slot (Theta sash vs Penitent's).

Turn the "helpkeepmealive" set into an idle set and always default to that.

Terra/Earth Staff, Medicine Earring, Goliard Trews (Or dragon pants if you have them and no heralds), Orochi Nodowa, Marduk Hands, and maybe ixion cloak? I use cleric's and a flawless ribbon atm tho.

Def stay away from jelly ring. We get hit with AoE's a lot.

That would be the reason to wear it, though I'm curious as to why you're always in range of these AoEs. If you are seeing a -ga3 coming, swap out the ring (even better, for a coral/merman's ring). If you're expecting to be eating magical TP AoEs that you for some reason need to stay in range of, leave the ring in your satchel or MH.

Yeah i was thinking of doing that to my idle set when i get gil and jelly+patronus, get coral/merman's just incase for magic
