Can't sleep because my nose and eyes are running and I have a headache. I have a 9am lecture and a couple of semi-important meetings tomorrow.

Sucks. I'm over my cold, which is nice because I have a go live coming up that requires me to be at strange hours, which would be even less fun sick

I luckily avoided the "new teacher's flu" that's supposed to hit you during the autumn break when the body finally has time to relax.

Coming back from a week of not dealing with kids every day, though, I can safely say that kids are ******* annoying. Good lord.

Been contemplating re-subbing to WoW for the day.

When was the last time you played?

I contemplated it when the last patch came out (because let's face it, killing Garrosh would be really ******* satisfying), but I'm not doing it until I finish school. I have enough distractions and issues right now as it is.

They need to hurry up with EQNext. Or maybe not, I want a good game.

Good game would be nice. Have they talked about F2P and restrictions on it or anything?

I thought their plan was a buy once play forever kind of deal. I can't say I've paid too much attention to it though.

Ugh bummer.

Well that sucks, it's the same reason I still haven't tried GW2 even though it sounded like a ton of fun. That kind of $40 or $60 upfront is a lot harder to swing than throwing the same $40 - $60 bucks at a game over the course of a few months, unlocking content as you go. Even paying out $15/month for a subscription is an easier sell.

Eh, it's cheaper than WoW.

It makes playing on an off a lot more affordable too.

Which is the great part once you swallow that initial cost.

It's all about what's cheap enough to be an impulse buy for me. I can throw down $10 without too much thought; that's within the budget for "fun." Spending something in the neighborhood of $50 is only possible a couple of times a year, and there are other things that can compete with that. I spent some $40 on TERA over 3ish months and that wasn't a problem, but I would have never tried it if I had to put the money down upfront.

If it makes a difference protein, it's on sale today only for 40% off. I saw a post from the GW2 page on facebook last night about it.

I got a new WoW account (because I didn't want to decide which characters to delete or some such thing) in April or May. Got bored with it after 2 weeks.

I did resubscribe. It lasted 2 or 3 hours and then I was like, this is still boring.

How to mess with a 2 year old's mind:

1) Wait until they go to sleep
2) Rearrange all the furniture
3) ????
4) Amusement

Protein, that is mean. I would so freak out. I freak out when people rearrange my furniture while I'm out of the house.

Well it wasn't intentionally mean. It's rather difficult to move large pieces of furniture with kids underfoot. What are you doing daddy? Are you moving the T.V.? Where are you going to put it? Is it going there? I like it there daddy, that's a really good place. Are you moving the couch too? Where are you moving the couch? Wait I want to ride on it!

Smiley: lol

I would move my furniture around but my house is tiny and the TV is bolted to the wall so it's not really an option. Smiley: frown

Yes... like I said, one day only. That'll teach you not to check this thread before you go home. Smiley: tongue
