It's been more than a decade, but I remember the Witte Museum was worth the price of admission. I also remember there was something about the Alamo that got under my skin so probably avoid that.

I went to the alamo last time I was there, it was boring. I really like the river walk in san antonio, it's lovely.

I had to be at work half an hour early today. Since traffic has been so bad, that meant getting up at 5.

I haven't had anything to eat (6 hours now). I can't go get food for at least another hour.

This really isn't cool...

Was subbing for another teacher today. Guess which class...

Also, I got myself a whistle. Time to give some kids permanent hearing loss!

I think I'd be the one leaving with hearing issues. Screaming children and such.

Tie them together, blind fold half, lead them to the woods, and tell them it's trust exercises.

Cats are horrible, mean creatures.

My neighbors have a chihuahua and they have some tiny fence and (I think) one of those shock collars to make sure the dog doesn't run away. My cats have this figured out and have been provoking the dog for the past hour and a half. I'm afraid the dog is going to get a heart attack or something.

Nothing terrible, I just missed a day of work though which was irritating. The fatigue has been rough, but manageable. It was the fever on top of that which was no fun. They say it gets getter after the first week or so though, so fingers are crossed the worst is over.

I hope you get better soon. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what sort of medication?

They haven't experienced catnip yet but they sure are enjoying this almost as much as chasing moths and flies.

Wellbutrin, or whatever the generic is called. A rather mild anti-depressant. Things on the mental side have been fairly good, so it's nice to get my head back out of the clouds, and I haven't had any mental-related symptoms. Just the fatigue, fever, and some muscle tightness. For the most part it's fairly mild, just a bit annoying, and more tired than normal.

Probably for the best. Good to stay off of the heavy stuff until you're at an old enough age to handle it responsibly, or something.

Ah, well, good to be rid of the medication then even if the withdrawal symptoms kind of suck. I hope they've realized how much they need you at work during your sick day.

impressions on flex raiding fish?

i curious.

still dont have a computer to game with these days but flex raiding could lure me back if i was to have a gaming rig again some day

They're opening it up at a slower rate than Normal, so only the first four bosses are available this week.

Flex raiding is pretty awesome, actually. It feels a little easier than Normals, but still nowhere near the lolzerg of LFR. You need to pay attention to mechanics and do the fight, but the numbers are just less tight than Normal mode's.

Considering it's also cross realm, Flex pugs are going to be huge. It is very PuG friendly, in that you don't need a specific amount of people. If you want to raid, but don't have a guild to do Normal modes in or you don't want to do only LFR, Flex is awesome and perfect for you. I'm goign to be doing a lot of alt runs myself with Flex, I think.

Oh they're pretty good at getting by without me really. I'm one of those rare Americans who actually uses their sick days, and between 2 kids, working at a hospital, and taking mass transit I get exposed to my fair share of germs.

Though I am learning disappearing for a week and a half is a bad idea. Just realized today that a project I handed off before my vacation a couple of months ago wasn't actually handled in any way, so I'm playing catch up with that now. Smiley: glare

Regular contact with germs makes you resistant to them.

And about the work left unfinished thing, that's when you start shouting at people at smacking them over the head with stuff just to make sure they don't **** up like that again.

I'm sure I'm resistant to all sorts of stuff now, just there's so much stuff. So much stuff...

Oh and the person I handed the project off to was my boss. Which means smacking him over the head is probably not a good idea. Smiley: lol

Ever since I started walking to school/work, I haven't been sick.

Sure, I've had a cold once or twice, but nothing where I had to stay home.

You don't have a king of the hill style of promotion system? Knock your boss out of his office and it's your office kind of thing.
