Those last few minutes before you have to go when you've done everything, got everything, double and triple checked it all are really boring.

Edit: listening to Harry Nilsson makes me happy.

Did you put de lime in de coconut and drink dem bot up?

If Nilsson Shmilsson makes you happy, then this will take care of that - from about the same time period and one of the saddest songs. It was #1 for a while in the US. We used to call it the Suicide Song and I don't know why your post reminded me of it:

I like Duit On Mon Dei the most. Salmon Falls is one of the bestest songs ever.

And I've been at one rate up to excellent for ages, probably never going to change anymore either.

Remind me to listen to that song on Tuesday, I'm in the car on the way to the airport now so no good internet.

Just to be clear, I don't need an emotional commitment for sex, just an emotional connection. I can do friends with benefits just fine, I can't do one night stands with someone I just met.

Got it. Smiley: wink

Also - I'm now listening to Sticky Fingers thanks to Aeth. Figure out that stream of conscious pathway from Nilsson.

I hate dailies more than anything else in the world. They're the worst, lamest, stupidest invention in gaming and I want to punch the person who thought of them in the face with an axe.

dailies as a way to get gold are ok. as are dailies to get mounts n what not. even dailies that have exalted gear to help round out your gear, as long as it is roughly equal to raid stuff that you could be getting anyway.

dailies that you have to grind beyond honored, which should be mostly done via regular quests, to get something that is required usually at exalted, shoulder/head enchants or to unlock other dailies, golden lotus, are terrible and need to die.

im ok with the you need honored ones. as that is a fast grind and normally questing will get you most of the way there, anything beyond that is just an unnecessary time sink that makes people miserable.

I was hooking up with this guy in a bathroom (because apparently it's my goal in life to confirm every gay stereotype as true) and someone came in. I swear they took the longest sh*t in the history of the human race. Was really a mood killer.

im remember my first time hooking up in a bathroom. it wasnt a stall style bathroom.

locking the door is something you should never forget to do.

Dailies are evil in all forms. They're just "collect 30 bear asses" and then do the same ******* thing every. single. day.

Dailies are just the same mechanics an MMO uses throughout the game condensed. It isn't like you're not collecting those bear asses 1 to level cap or to collect some marginal up/side-grade item.

Which is why I won't MMO anymore.

Dailies are just the same mechanics my work uses throughout my life condensed. It isn't like you're not filling TPS reports, 16 to death to get a nicer house/hotter wife.

Which is why I won't work anymore.

I unsubbed from WoW this morning. I'm glad I made a real effort to try to like MoP, but I just can't agree that it's a good expansion.

Honestly, it seems like they had a whole lot of good ideas, and a fair number of really bad ones, and failed to really implement anything well.

Also, the story is terrible so far. And let's face it, that's going to be a good 80% of my reason to play something or not.

Pretty much.

If they let me level through pet battles I may give it another try some day though.

You can level through pet battles, though. You gain experience for winning a pet battle.

From Wowpedia:

Quote:
Winning a pet battle versus a team within 5 levels of the player's highest-level pet will award experience to the player

It's new as of 5.1 I think. That patch featured a lot of pet battle rewards added.

It's a really low exp reward, just FYI. Dunno how it scales with level, to be fair, but I was getting exp equivalent to killing one mob for one battle. So it'll be MUCH slower leveling.

So what's the actual prize here, because the flower and the swan seems like a weird prize for some sort of cycling thing.

Quote:
The grand prize is a Flower and the Swan for two people at Rødvig Inn & Seaside hotel .

Flower and the Swan? I don't even...

Danish version wrote:
Hovedpræmien er et kroophold for to personer på Rødvig Kro & Badehotel.

No idea why 'kroophold' is translated into Flower and the Swan. It's basically just a compound word, consisting of 'kro' and 'ophold'.

Kro = inn
Ophold = stay

Kroophold is an "inn-stay" or, as you'd call it, a stay at an inn.
