Oh, no doubt. If given a choice between the two, excercise comes ahead by a long margin. But if you are trying to lose fat, then limiting your caloric intake is much easier than burning off the excess calories.

I mean, duh. To lose weight, you need to take in less calories than you burn every day. It's simple math, and it's definitely easier to cut calories out of your diet than it is to just burn more.
