I have finally found an amuse I want to make for Christmas dinner. I found 2 even.
One will be wild boar paté on rye bread with apple syrup, the other will be cauliflower cream with bacon.

Now I just need an entree and I'll have the whole thing done, well, thought out anyway.

Edit: I may just go with a salad with duck and some orange dressing or something as entree. Also Xsarus, what vegetables would you add to turkey filet, cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes? Doesn't need to be too heavy considering that we'll have the amuses, an entree, the main course of turkey, a cheese plate, then some schwartzwalder kirchentorte and finally tea or coffee and some cookies or bonbons. (Hey, you don't get to go all out that often, better make it count)

Edit 2: I should also mention that I have Jolly Pumpkin's Oro De Calabaza for the main course (and entree) and Rodenbach Caractère Rouge to accompany the dessert.

Overall it'll be fairly fruity with the two fruity beers, the apple syrup in the amuse, possibly orange in the entree, cranberries in the main course and of course cherries and cherry beer for the dessert.
