My great granddad was a general something or other (I have no clue of the details), my granddad made it to captain, major, something relatively high up anyway, my dad made it to corporal and I wouldn't touch the army with a ten foot pole. I very much approve of this progression, I wouldn't have lasted more than a week in the army.
