I sometimes find myself wondering just how close I am to a weapon in civilian hands that is WAY More powerful than they would ever have reasonable cause to possess, even accounting for truly absurd* scenarios. And I'm always, always deeply disturbed by the results of that thought experiment.

*And yes, by the end of this, I've almost always included zombie apocalypses.
