Hey guys. I've recently got an interest in tanking with my warrior. Problem is I only have a few select pieces of tank gear. I am wondering if with this current gear I can tank normals/non ZA/ZG/HoT heroics without much issue? http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/dragonmaw/Burtmacklin/simple Self buffed I have ~175k health, but I'm not real sure what my avoidance numbers should be at. Also, I don't really have the gold to gem back and forth so I'd probably leave my strength gems in for the time being on the dps gear. (Just a side note, I know I have fury glyphs in there I just haven't changed them yet) Thanks in advance for any responses.

Cheers,

Mastery, mastery, mastery. That's one of the main things. And yes, you're really gimping yourself by not changing out your gems. You should reforge some of your stuff to dodge, not things like crit (not helpful at all) or expertise. Your parry and dodge should only be a few percentages off from one another. While hit and expertise are good, they're not AS important as they used to be. Once you fix your reforging and get your dodge around where your parry is, you should be fine otherwise. If you look at mine, my stats aren't as great (health is lower than yours), but when my parry and dodge being close to one another (even with my hit and expertise very low), I have no issues tanking the new stuff

Thanks for the reply. You're right, reforging would be a good way to get some more parry/dodge. I'll try and get that all sorted out and maybe just run some HoT's as DPS to get a few more tanking pieces before giving it a go. Thanks again.
