Hello there

I just bough the expasionm, and so it look like many changes so far since the Lich King. I got few question:

I got a shammy (restro) and a Pally (tank), witch one do you recomend me to go for?
Should i swap to the DPS classes (enhance - Retri ) to lvl up faster?
Any new craft?

Cya.

What do you want to do on the way? Dungeons? PvP? Just quest?

There's also archeology if you feel like leveling that. It's the new secondary profession. Not essential by any means, timesink is timesink.

My gut says play your pally tank if you want some instant dungeon cues mixed with soloing. If you just want to quest it won't matter so much, but the resto spec won't be quick.

ramble ramble, play the class you like best. Smiley: smile

Yeahm was thinking the same, i will stick with the Paly Tank for the moment.

Question, there is still the Dual aspect thingy? I can't find it atm... can someone explain?

Also, Daralan is empty, SW is empty,... where is everybody?

If you've already learned it, it's on your talents page(tabs on the right side). Otherwise, go to your trainer.

There are two AHs in SW now. Even in the wee hours of the night, there are usually a few folks around one of them, unless your server's dead.

So SW is once again the main Town to be?

They retooled all the tabs, trying to get used to them again.

I guess i should pay some gold to be able to fly over Azeroth?

The busier area of SW is now the Dwarven District, since it has a bank/AH very close to each other, and is right next to the portals (not to mention easy access to a forge). But since flying mounts are usable in towns now, you'll see a lot of people just hovering in the air or perching on rooftops, which really reduces the ground population.

As for leveling, just stick with your tank spec. You'll do more than enough damage, and might actually even be more efficient since mobs can actually hit hard now. Though I suspect that's really irrelevant for pallies.

Also, and I stress this, DON'T rush to endgame. A huge portion of their energy went into crafting the quest areas for this expansion. Rushing through them isn't wise. Of course, you also have some catching up to do if you want to raid. I honestly have no clue how the system works in Cata (meaning whether or not you can jump into the current tier raid following heroics, or if you'll need to progress through them a la BC).

For some reason the trade district is busier on my server. I hate the trade district of SW, always have always will.

umad bro? mad cuz bad? jelly of our bricks?

Seriously, though, why do you hate the Trade District? I hate the Mage Quarter with a passion. I always get lost in the maze of paths leading around and back to where you came from. Flying helps, but damn.

Damn.

Don't forget, the same upgrades to towns apply to Dalaran, too. You can fly, there's an AH bot relatively close to one of the banks, and the portal to SW is still open.

On my server, that part of Dalaran is about half as busy as the Trade District, which is about half as busy as the Dwarven District. But the toon I have parked there can get everything done, and the Mage District is 30 seconds away.

There's a portal in Dalaran?

I thought they removed those during Cataclysm launch, hence the entire "zomg Blizz, ur makeing me walk?!" dramalulz back then.

They put a couple back. I've heard a couple of reasons:

-People coming back to the game were lost without them.

-Mages were extorting people who had put their low-level alts in Dal and couldn't get them home.

Also, people that finished WotLK at 80 didn't have an easy way back to Org/SW to pick up the quests for Vashj and Hyjal.

The trade district is not the dwarven district. I hang out in dwarf town all day.
