I didn't even know this was possible and it may not be intended to work this way.

But last night in ZA the group ask me to sheep and I do. Well the sheep almost wheres off befor we even pull so I goto resheep and my trinket procs and damages my intended target pulls the mobs and wipes our group.

Had to copy and paste my combat log to chat to convince them I didn't nuke one.

Ugh.

I want to say there's a whole family of these guys that causes problems. I think this little one was often a culprit as well.

So that's why people take the polymorph glyph that removes DoTs from your sheeped target. =x I always thought that was pointless in PvE.

I'm not sure that would prevent the pulling, however. They'd probably still be hit with the effect for a split second(or worse, it would resolve after the sheep's DoT removal does), which would count as an attack, which would still pull.

I hated to get rid of my Tyrande's Favorite Doll trinket from Archaeology. However, it was too much of a liability. To fully utilize it, I wanted to macro it into other spells. Doing so had me pulling neutral mobs in places like Deadmines, or breaking sheep if I was too close.

I believe either the aldor or scryer in BC originally had an absurd proc range. It could accidentally aggro bosses on the other side of raids or instances if misused "properly".

In more current content, I would love to see that happen with the rag trinket. Even better the heroic.....I'm world class....but damn if i cant still pull a trash mob! No but really, I wonder if anybody has had this happen?
