Really, I have no idea.
My stun is useless, as they keep the trinket for it. When I use Repentance to close the distance between us, I get pushed away the moment I attack. After that, I keep getting kited and nuked as he moves around.
Are retadins supposed to be free kills for elemental shamans in 1v1? (this is considering the combat starts at a distance, not one next to the other)

Once you close the gap try and stay on their backside. If this doesn't work your only choice is pillar humping to avoid direct LOS. 1v1 isn't balanced and anyone that can kite well will give a Ret Paladin trouble.
