From a lock's perspective that is.

This forum used to be so full of life.. I do miss those old days so I thought I'd chuck in a new topic.

Personally I've been loving the new dailies~ there's a lot of them but they're so well clustered together that they don't take to much extra time. Today I finally hit the 150 marks so I opened up the druids of talons dailies. gotta love all the underground stuff with all the air vent jumping, reminds me of the old days of wall climbing and exploring places. Another great part of the new dailies is the achievements and us locks have an added advantage when dealing with the achievement that requires killing a Flamewalker Sentinel while he carries a party member..or in this case, our pet/us (it picked up my imp and tried to dunk it in the lava... so he didn't last long ^^)

The new raid is amazing too, such a diversity of fight mechanics...though it feels a bit short.. I can't comment on the heroic modes yet but from what I've read of them they don't seem to hard..except raggy, though if he doesn't gain more health at the start of the additional phase... I can see that last 10% being burned down pretty quickly and raids actively choosing to ignore most of his additional abilities in light of this..

lets hear your experiences of the new content

I've been enjoying the dailies also. I think they are interesting and easy to do. The only gripe I have is the amount of ganking going on. But really I guess that depends on server/faction. But other than that I've been enjoying them. Haven't done much firelands though...only some trash runs on my hunter. The place looks really cool and I hope to raid it soon.

there's some really interesting new boss mechanics so when you do get to try them I'm sure you'll enjoy them. I've just swapped server to join Heretic on Al'akir, who're 3/7 heroic currently (4/7 today definitely as they were doing great on alysrazor yesterday) so lots of new fun stuff to come along soon ^^

Edit: Not sure why my username is Barclande, I never really used this account in the past, you will know me as Lathais.

Hey guys, havn't been around in a while, been busy. Changed jobs a couple times and I have a daughter now. So yeah, not as much time for forums as I used to have. Not even sure if anyone will remember me.

Anyway, thoughts on the new content.

Dailies, bleh. Never muched liked dalies to beging with, but these are less painful than previous dailies. Was able to get the first 3 stages unlocked but can't really force myself to keep going.

As for the new raid content. It is refreshing to see some new mechanics, but I agree with you Jenova, it is just short in some way. Shannox, 3 mobs, kill one, kill other 2 close together. Beth'tilac, manage adds then burn. Rhyolith is kinda different, but just a gimmick then burn really. I could go on, but you guys know. It's all different but the same. Still fun though and I still love raiding.

On the plus side, I am first in line in my guild for the legendary staff, sadly, we just got to 4/7 this week and we only do 10 man now. So it will still be a little while. I'm 11/25 on Embers so far. Really can;t wait to get that thing though.

Anyway, nice saying hi after so long, I'll make some sort of effort to be around but no promises.
